## What is Hanko Authenticator?

Hanko Authenticator is an app for push-based multi-factor authentication on supported websites.

Add Hanko Authenticator to your account to securely sign in to supported websites and apps. Simply approve the authentication request with the Hanko Authenticator app on your phone. Hanko Authenticator can be used in passwordless scenarios or as a strong, device-bound multi-factor authentication factor in combination with a password or other credentials.

Hanko Authenticator is based on FIDO authentication protocols.
