### 5/5 — Really Great

*2025-12-06, version 1.5.0*

The key click has been improved since I started using it. This is really great. Intuitive and user friendly, with pretty much every Hammond feature you could ask for.

### 5/5 — Well, this is good!

*2025-04-25, version 1.5.0*

I’ve been looking for a Hammond emulation app for a recording project I have in mind, and this one is really good. I had Galileo for a while, but found it bewildering to use. This one is extremely user friendly. The only criticism I have is that the key click sounds more like static discharge than a dirty contact. Improve the key click and it’ll be even better. For £3.99 you can’t really argue, but would happily more.

### 4/5 — Very good Hammond emulation, but needs user-settable midi CCs

*2025-03-24*

I have a CK61 from Yamaha. It’s Hammond emulator is good, with these exceptions: A) half the chorus/vibrato settings are not good. B) fast Leslie is not good. C) Leslie ramp up/down are far too quick.

Enter this B70. All the above issues are corrected here. Does it sound as good as my A100/122 combo? Not quite. Is it close enough that I no longer have an issue leaving 350 pounds of organ and speaker home and using B70? Yes indeed! B70 sounds very good.

Only issue is this: I cannot map the controls of the CK61 to the CCs of the B70, and cannot choose the midi channels. So the drawbars on the CK61 don’t work with B70, the Leslie speed switch does not work, and to use B70 in an already complex setup I need to reassign all my midi channels.

PLEASE make midi channel and CC assignments user-selectable!

### 5/5 — Great but Additonal Features such as two manual support and pedal organ support

*2024-08-08*

This works great for hammond organ virtual software on a budget. Sounds Great and works worderfully. The only major suggestions that would improve this program are the following:

Two manual support, pedal organ support, and realtime drawbar control support.

Other than that, Great Virtual Hammond Organ Software.

### 5/5 — It’s a Hammond type organ, really good.

*2024-01-23, version 1.5.0*

There are numerous organs on the iOS/iPadOS ecosystem, including the ones Apple make available in a very selective way in GarageBand. Knowing roughly how this sort of organ was made to growl and screech by major proponents back in the day, you can put it through a chain of FX that includes compression, distortion, flanger, EQ, reverb, for example, and generally experiment with emphasis of one or the other. The order of these FX, and so forth, it’s all easy even in Apple’s baby DAW. Personally, I found it inspirational to go through setting the organ itself up, with drawbars in particular places, and save the preset you like.

Thus inspired, it’s great to play. My tip for this instrument: play two-handed, even if you’re not that gifted, it makes a huge difference to the tone you get out. Get that left hand to do something, at some point, it is an audio effect in itself, playing this way. Have a basic bass note held, that’s all you need to try this technique, and you will hear the difference.

### 3/5 — It’s sounds great but...

*2021-04-26*

It doesn’t work as an Audio Unit in Nano Studio 2. It appears as a choice, but the menu of sounds is empty.

### 5/5 — LOVE IT!

*2021-04-24*

The only suggestion (and its more personal for my setup) is the option for sustain pedal. Because I layer my sounds with pianos, etc., I would love to be able to have the B7 have access to the sustain pedal as well. Even without the sustain, this is the perfect sounding B3 right out of the 70’s!

### 5/5 — good sounding keybaord in AUV3

*2021-02-27*

i tried other apps by this developer and found them to sound good, so i tried this as well - very good sounding hammond style keybpard to my ears, with a good feature set

### 5/5 — Pretty good basic tones, but...now I eat crow!

*2021-01-02*

edit: HOLY SMOKES!!! Excellent developer is quite responsive and updates have fixed nearly all of the previous quibbles I noticed.

The tones on the drawbars are really quite good.
The chorus/vibrato 1’s are rather subtle but still sound good and the knob for the other settings is authentic.
The percussion settings and sounds are all there and do the legato thing like they should.

The Leslie fast/slow button is in a good location. A new “Tweak” button provides controls to adjust fast, slow and ramp speeds. Nice stereo separation but no adjustment there, yet. Also there is little perception of a separation of the horn and drum on ramp up/down, as if they are on the same pulley. However the horn/drum mix slider level works well and is handy where it is located.

The Leslie Drive slider is one of the BEST parts of the app. Good job on this bit. Many hardware keyboards and pedals don’t get the drive to respond as well as this app does. Sounds great, if just a tad bright. A tone knob or eq would be a real nice there.

The key click and leakage sliders are handy and useful.

The reverb is great with loads of adjustment. Good job there, too.

(edit: fixed) All issues and bugs reported in my first review, have been removed from this post because the developer fixed them all with the first update. Very impressive.

Well done!

**Developer response:** Hi Pete, thank you for your expert feedback. In the new 1.3.1 version, a lot of issues you raise have been fixed. The interruption wav only with virtual keyboard (and now has been fixed). The Black drawbars have now a better contrast. The percussions didn't goes in the C/V anymore and the retrigger time has been adjusted. In the next weeks I plan to add access on parameters tweaking (Leslie speed/ acceleration / percussion level, etc ... ).

### 4/5 — Needs update ( cont )

*2021-01-01, version 1.4.1*

Update done, great .
