## What is Hanro?

Hanro is the earnings management app built for gig delivery drivers — food delivery, courier, ride-share, and taxi. Designed around Japan's tax rules, it works just as well for any driver who needs clean records.

Log earnings across multiple platforms with one tap. Hanro computes your hourly rate and per-km rate from active hours and distance, then shows what actually stays in your pocket after income tax, resident tax, and social insurance — so you can tell whether a shift was worth driving.

### 1.3 — 2026-08-13

You can now choose your currency in Settings (Japanese yen by default). Amounts you already recorded are not converted — only the currency used for display and input changes.
The revenue map now records where each delivery happened, so it finally shows the areas that actually paid.
Work sessions and refuelling records can now be edited. Fix a mistyped start time, end time, or distance without deleting the whole record.
Platforms can be renamed and recoloured, and you can set a commission rate and payout day.
Backup and restore added. Restoring only ever adds records — nothing existing is removed.
New Shift Planner shows your past hourly rate by time slot before you head out (Premium).
You can now store an invoice registration number, printed on the monthly PDF.
Permission prompts now appear in your own language.
Fixed layout breaking at large text sizes and improved text colour contrast.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-29

The Apple Watch app now ships with Hanro. Tax exports let you pick the year, so last year's records no longer mix into this year's CSV. Automatic drive detection can be enabled in Settings (Premium). Fixes an issue where editing an incident report cleared its filing-requirement flag, and one that prevented the share sheet importer from opening.
