Totally unnecessary. It’s also not that interesting or original. You may as well call is US sports, US politics etc. Can’t you split the topics into a set of world questions and a set of US questions? There are other countries out there you know. Not only wrong, but harmful to the state of affairs in America ### 2/5 — American and nonsensical. *2025-01-18, version 1.8.0* Questions are obviously targeted to Americans and some questions don’t fit the topic, a maths question asking about what the smallest shark was for example. ### 3/5 — Won’t let me listen to my music! *2025-01-07, version 1.8.0* It’s okay, the trivia can be fun but it’s a little repetitive. Developers! The app pauses your music/podcast when you open it and that is a HUGE flaw. I like playing game like this while having music or podcast in my ear and that is impossible with this current version. Please fix this because this flaw makes me not want to play, I don’t not need to hear the in app music. ### 3/5 — Good variety, too much motion *2024-12-20* I really want to love this game. I love trivia, and there are very few trivia games out there. The structure of the game mechanics is excellent - I love there is a daily challenge, or I can follow a map and play random topics, or I can play specific topics. However, there is too much motion. I became dizzy after less than 10 minutes of playing. I would love to see an option available to minimize motion. This would improve accessibility for many players. ### 3/5 — Why no sound options? *2024-12-08, version 1.8.0* You can’t turn off the music!?! Why would you do that? I have no idea how good the game is, because I don’t want to mute my phone to play it. ### 3/5 — Entertaining but not Global *2024-12-05, version 1.8.0* This is an entertaining well structured and visually appealing game, but is far too narrow focussed on questions that only residents of the USA would know, especially in sports and food categories. The questions need to be far more balanced for a worldwide audience, or perhaps have an option to turn all these American specific questions off. How about some questions about football (aka soccer) or cricket or more foods from around the world instead of obscure American fast food chains. Could be so much better if this was improved. Please address this terrible flaw. ### 3/5 — Overall fun with a few big flaws *2024-11-30* I like the game and I’m having fun with it, but I have a few issues. My biggest problem is the title screen that plays before your trivia round starts. It’s too long and it gets old really fast. I like the little animations, but that screen needs to be shortened to better fit the fast-paced nature of the game itself. I also can’t help but feel the whole app feels slow. I’m not sure if it’s intentional, but a lot of the animated elements have a lower frame rate which make it feel like it’s running sluggishly, even if it isn’t. The questions could also stand to be a bit more common knowledge as well. Some of them are very obscure questions that require the user to just guess ### 1/5 — Unplayable *2024-08-02, version 1.8.0* I’ve been playing daily for a few weeks. The past two days the daily trivia is not playable. I get the error that I am “not connected” even though I have very good cell service or wifi, neither matters. ### 3/5 — Mostly fun *2024-07-30* I enjoy a good trivia game and this one is pretty good, for the most part. However, I do have a couple complaints. Some questions don’t fit the category. Specifically, “How fast can a domestic cat sprint?” is NOT a math question. I’ve had a few like that where there are numbers involved, but nothing to do with math. Another question I had today (also in the Math category, appropriately) was “What shape is this?”. There was no shape pictured. I can’t remember what the three choices were, but I just randomly picked “nonagon” and luckily got it right. But that was just dumb luck because there was no shape to look at. Those are just two examples of flaws with this game. The dumb questions are pretty rare, I guess. Enough to keep me playing. I rarely use the power ups and I don’t like that I have to click through each one before I can continue playing. I do like Tom cheering me on as I go! ### 3/5 — Okay… but I think there’s a problem *2024-07-09, version 1.8.0* Okay, so first of all, like most people are saying… this game is way too American based! Like I don’t live anywhere near the continent America so when it asked me to covert this many dollars into dimes, I had no idea what the answer could possibly be! Also, it keeps telling me that I am offline, even when I have both WiFi and mobile data switched on! As an Apple Arcade user, I would definitely pick another trivia question game over this, but unfortunately this was the only one I could find. Other than my complaints, all was fine. ### 1/5 — No Thanx *2024-07-09, version 1.8.0* Asked what the name of the O’Hara owned plantation was in Gone with the Wind .. Tara was not even listed as the option. Had a 50 shades of grey question in math. I suppose because 50 is a number, or something. Those were the two last straws to what is already a middling game. We are 18 versions into iOS and somehow it there are STILL apps that turn off my music, and have no volume and sound effect controls. Played 3 questions deleted app. Seriously come on. ### 1/5 — Wrong answers. Arrrggggh! *2025-04-25* I thought this app would be great to use to test my memory, but there are too many wrong answers. For example, there is a History question asking when JFK was assassinated - with the following choices: 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. None are correct because it was in November 1963. I selected the 70’s to see what the App believes is the correct answer, and the App highlighted the 90’s as the correct answer. JFK Jr. was 1999, and he was never President. Wrong answers to questions… An App is only as good as its programmers, and they need to do their research. Loads of content and things to earn/achieve but for the entire rest of the world, don’t waste your time! This isn’t for any of you!
