## What is Hanze?

Blijf op de hoogte van de agenda en het nieuws van de Hanzehogeschool Groningen met de Hanze-app! De Hanzehogeschool Groningen is de oudste multisectorale hogeschool van Nederland. In 2013 viert zij haar 215-jarig bestaan. Met vestigingen in Groningen, Assen, Leeuwarden en Amsterdam telt de hogeschool circa 25.000 studenten en 2.700 personeelsleden. 

Volgens "Beste studies 2014" van Elsevier is de Hanzehogeschool wederom de beste hogeschool van het Noorden, daar zijn we trots op! Het onderwijsaanbod van de Hanzehogeschool Groningen omvat:
* ruim 70 bacheloropleidingen. 
* 8 programma's voor Associate degrees. 
* 17 masteropleidingen. 
* Nederlands-, Duits- en Engelstalige opleidingen. 
Jaarlijks maken zo'n 1.500 cursisten uit het bedrijfsleven gebruik van het contractonderwijs bij Hanzehogeschool Groningen Professionals en Bedrijven, de zakelijke dienstverlener van de hogeschool.

Speerpunten
De Hanzehogeschool Groningen focust op de zwaartepunten Energie en Healthy Ageing en sluit daarmee aan bij de strategische thema’s van Noord-Nederland. De hogeschool werkt op deze onderwerpen nauw samen met organisaties, overheden en andere kennisinstellingen in de regio. Daarnaast richt de hogeschool zich bij zowel onderwijs als praktijkgericht onderzoek sterk op ondernemerschap en het op peil brengen en houden van kennis bij het bedrijfsleven en werkenden in het noorden. Het ontwikkelen van talent krijgt daarbij steeds meer aandacht.
