## What is Hanzi Mind?

Prepare for the HSK properly: read, listen and WRITE. HSK 1 to 6, covering both the classic standard (2.0) and the new HSK 3.0 that takes effect in 2026.

What makes Hanzi Mind different:

- DUAL spaced repetition. Reading and writing are scheduled separately, because recognizing a character and being able to write it are not the same skill. Each one gets its own review date.
- No hints, no outlines. If you needed help to trace a character, it does not count as known.
- Dictation: write what you hear.
- A library of graded stories with audio, with vocabulary controlled to your lesson. Every story only uses words you have already seen, and you can download it to read and listen offline.
- Etymology and the evolution of every character, from oracle bone to modern stroke, animated.
- Pronunciation assessment with syllable-by-syllable analysis and a profile of your recurring mistakes by initial, final and tone.
- Printable A4 calligraphy workbook.
- Tone drills with audio and recording.

- The "Review updated" toast no longer stays on screen: it dismisses itself again.
- The example sentence on the back of a Reading card no longer vanished when the confusion hint appeared.
- Lessons: the "Practice" button did nothing if you had left the study mode set to Grammar.
