Disconnects to the snoo all the time, buttons don’t work when you press them. The snoo is great, but the app is so annoying. Would prefer a cheaper simpler version of the app that just allowed you to control the snoo and tracks sleep and feeds. The premium account is not free. As if this bassinet doesn’t cost enough then you have to pay more to view other features. The most annoying part is not being able to view sleep in the log when the SNOO is on unless you are premium acct. And you cannot log sleeping time at the same time as SNOO times. The sleep log with SNOO activated disappears as soon as you turn the rocking off. For me, I would just like to see the amount of time I don’t need to know all the details of soothing and such with SNOO activated. ### 2/5 — Locking a level requires a paid subscription, how shady *2026-07-30, version 3.0.2* After spending an insane amount on the bassinet, locking a certain level in the snoo should be a standard feature. Why does level lock not work when the motion limiter is on? And the preview window that shows the “current” mode often lags and is therefore inaccurate. Sometimes the up and down arrows just don’t work. Why does the “motion start level” actually set a new minimum level for the session? These are issues that should not happen with an expensive subscription to use an already expensive device. And we all know time is key when there’s a screaming baby ### 2/5 — Updated app has a lot of bugs! *2026-07-04, version 3.0.1* I used to love this app, but after the update there are so many bugs that make it much more difficult to track your progress. For instance for the pumping tracker, the bar chart shows ~50oz one day, but when I tap on that bar for details, it says 7oz pumped that day (actual number is closer to 50) Also the dates on the x-axis differ from the date shown when you click into the bar. Furthermore the bar charts don’t make any sense (e.g., a bar with 48oz is significantly taller than one with 53oz) Additionally, it no longer shows annotations for the amount above the bars in the chart making it difficult to track progress at a glance, without tapping into each individual day. ### 1/5 — Just another ripoff of a subscription *2026-07-02, version 3.0.1* Two years ago the app was free with full functionality. Now they want $150 for basic features. Not to mention i paid $1000 for this bassinet and now they want to nickel and dime me for even more. Buyer beware! ### 3/5 — ALMOST THERE *2026-07-01, version 3.0.1* I’ve been really happy with the SNOO itself—it’s a fantastic product and has definitely helped with sleep. It’s just a shame they’re no longer sold in Australia, so buying second-hand is the only realistic option. The recent app update introduced a “new look”, but in reality it’s the same app with the same buttons and features. It feels like a missed opportunity to add functionality that parents actually need. A few features I’d love to see: * Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets so you can quickly log bottles, nappies and feeds without opening the app every time. * A health section to store GP, child health nurse, paediatrician and other specialist contact details, locations, appointment history and visit notes. * Vaccination tracking with reminders and countdowns to upcoming immunisations. * Milestone tracking. * A place to record important medical information such as allergies, medications and health conditions. * Developmental activities and exercises based on baby’s age, similar to the Sprouty app. I’m paying for the app, but realistically I’m only using it to calculate the time between feeds and nappy changes. It feels like it could be so much more. Another frustration is the Wi-Fi limitation. My SNOO only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, so when I moved it into the nursery it lost connection. I can’t justify setting up a Wi-Fi extender just to use the app when the bassinet works perfectly fine using the physical button. I’d also love to see Happiest Baby release a standalone nightlight and room clock with TOG guidance and room temperature tracking, similar to the Goldilocks device. At the moment I’m juggling multiple apps and devices when it would be great to have everything integrated into one ecosystem. Overall, the SNOO is an excellent product, but the app feels underdeveloped considering it’s a paid subscription. With a few thoughtful additions, it could become an indispensable parenting app rather than just a feed and nappy timer. ### 1/5 — Absolute Garbage *2026-06-30, version 3.0.1* You cannot charge a monthly subscription fee for these features. It soothes the baby and we get more sleeps. What we don’t love is having to pay a subscription to change THE VOLUME of the white noise. I understand that maintenance and continuous improvement cost money, but this feels like a rip off. You drive it. You love it. Then one day—years later—they say you have to pay $20/mo to use the stereo or adjust basic vehicle settings, Wouldn't you feel upset? That's the best analogy I have for my experience with our SNOO. They're not cheap. It’s a great product. We love it. And we used to recommend it to every expecting parent we knew. But when we got it out of storage for our 3rd baby, everything had changed. Same bassinet we had for years. But all the basic functionality was behind a paywall. Like… I can no longer lock the SNOO on one setting, adjust responsiveness, or use the weening mode. Didn't I buy the thing? And at the time, were these settings not standard? I get that there is value in some of the app-specific features (expert content, real-time support, advanced baby tracking, etc). And I'm sure that's all really helpful for some parents. But changing the functionality of a product we already bought is a complete bait and switch money grab. The only way I’m able to use my snoo is with the physical button on the bassinet. Wanting to charge $1,499 for a product with a 6 month shelf-life is one thing, but to then throw a $20 subscription fee on top of that? The snoo is a product, and they’ve decided to strip away the product’s functionality to market it as a service. This wasn’t the case a few years back. Want to put real value add there like access to nursing oncall? Fine. But nerfing basic hardware capabilities is anti consumer. ### 1/5 — Terrible design flaw and unfair return fees! *2026-08-04, version 3.0.2* The SNOO bassinet is horribly designed when it comes to hygiene. You cannot remove the mesh to wash it, which is completely ridiculous for a baby product. To make matters worse, when you return the bassinet, they will charge you a fee if there are any stains. It is incredibly frustrating—if they didn't design the bassinet in a way that allows it to be properly cleaned, how can they justify charging customers a penalty for it? Because of this flaw, these bassinets are always just dirty. The Log feature is sooo helpful for tracking daily patterns so you can sort of plan when you can expect your baby to sleep/feed/be fussy based on the previous day’s data. I just wish it would allow us to choose day start/end time more specifically (like my baby was born at 15:30 but that is not an option in the settings to start her days at). ### 5/5 — Love the app for tracking feeds and diapers *2026-04-09, version 2.10.2* First time mom here. We haven’t used the bassinet yet but we live in the app to track feeds and diapers. Best tracking app (for any kind of tracking) I’ve ever used. Has buttons to clock events for you, or you can enter manually. And the timers continue to run in the background while you use other parts of the app. Theyre not easy to accidentally clear, either, which is great. I really like the daily log on the track to visualize the day, too.
