### 3/5 — claude code bug

*2026-05-02, version 1.7.0*

when I hit the “claude code” button on start a new session screen, it crashes the app

### 4/5 — Good

*2026-04-14*

Good Goooood

### 5/5 — The real deal

*2026-03-16, version 1.5.0*

It’s great! I like it more than antigravity and Vs code for sure!

### 3/5 — Modo voz não funciona

*2026-03-13*

Não funciona uma feature básica diferencial do app

### 3/5 — Way too complicated

*2026-02-28, version 1.5.0*

Sorry but the setup is not even remotely easygoing. This is just not made for me.

### 5/5 — Great Agent Tool

*2026-02-25, version 1.5.0*

Have really enjoyed using this with Claude Code - it’s genius! Biggest improvement I’d suggest is to update codex support to include recent models (5.3)

### 3/5 — Codex no

*2026-02-21, version 1.5.0*

The app seems really well designed and I’m sure it works great for Claude but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get conversation parody with codex. I seem to be getting stuck on a permission screen where the Happy app does not accept my answer to the permission request clicking the option directly in the UI

### 2/5 — Too many bugs left

*2026-02-19, version 1.5.0*

There are many bugs discussed in github issues but left unsolved, it's better to find other stable ways.

### 5/5 — Incredibly intuitive and easy

*2026-02-19, version 1.5.0*

I’ve tried a few other ways to interact remotely with Claude Code and have even built my own. Happy is by far the most intuitive and smoothest way to communicate with Claude code

### 3/5 — Buggy

*2026-02-15, version 1.5.0*

Codex will stuck at asking for permission forever

### 5/5 — Sensacional

*2026-02-13*

### 4/5 — Very convenient

*2026-02-12, version 1.5.0*

It’s a little buggy when it comes to a few things but I’m sure that’s easy to fix. Multichoice seems to break it.

### 5/5 — Oh. My.

*2026-02-12, version 1.5.0*

This has within 24 hours become my favourite tool of all time (second to Claude itself). Claude has transformed how I can work, however sitting in front of a terminal typing continue and prompts handcuffs you to your desk still.

This has enabled me not only to use Claude from anywhere, but to finally and freely develop ideas around life generally!! No more squinting at tiny phone terminals hoping it’s not going to timeout and make you log in again. No more tmux deciding to crash. This, running in daemon mode with a self hosted server, is the real deal. How or why free I don’t know, but Thankyou for your innovation.

### 5/5 — The love

*2026-02-12, version 1.5.0*

the big love for everybody

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — vibe coded and lacks polish

*2026-05-13, version 1.7.0*

I really enjoy using this app because it unlocks a capability that was hard for me to use elsewhere. I also appreciate that it's open source. However, the app has a lot of trivial problems that would be readily solved by somebody who is versed cross-platform mobile development. I find that there frequent breaking changes to the app, such as navigation bugs, and the app is not optimized for long running chats or for lots of chats (for example, opening an old chat takes minutes to catch up).

### 1/5 — Possible malware and privacy invasive app.

*2026-04-16, version 1.7.0*

I inspected the npm package and it installed itself in places that shouldn’t have, and it also didn’t recognise my codex install package, and the worst thing is that it also asked permission to track my motion and fitness activity on my phone which makes zero sense for this app to request. I think I’ll stick with sshing to my Mac instead.

### 1/5 — Lies about data collection

*2026-04-16, version 1.7.0*

Their website and privacy policy (updated January *2025*) say zero telemetry or usage statistics are collected. Yet there is literally a setting in the app to toggle usage statistics collection (which is on by default). Reporting this to Apple.

### 1/5 — worked for one day

*2026-02-24*

now it’s broken and the dev is silent and no fixes are pushed despite lots of complaints.

### 1/5 — Не работает

*2026-02-20*

Ни авторизация ни подключение

### 1/5 — Does not deliver

*2026-02-03, version 1.5.0*

It’s unreliable enough to be unusable. Sessions drop, can’t reconnect, the terminal it’s running in on the Mac becomes corrupted once you try to switch back from mobile to local mode… everything it claims to do, it doesn’t deliver.

### 1/5 — Great!

*2026-01-06*

Need to support AskUserQuestion!

### 1/5 — Lots of issues unfortunately

*2026-01-05, version 1.5.0*

First off, the first message in a chat often doesn’t send. I have to copy and send it again. Additionally, API or other errors do not bubble up to the happy UI. if there was an issue authenticating to Claude, happy will just sit there stuck in “thinking” mode.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2026-01-04, version 1.5.0*

Create account button… does nothing. Link… returns an error. Extra steps to install the dependencies… failed

### 2/5 — Slop

*2026-06-20, version 1.7.0*

Sorry but, the app is slop.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — most enjoyable dev tool

*2026-08-20, version 1.7.0*

feels smooth, better than claude, codex app woth remote controll

### 5/5 — Amazing - one of the only reliable ways to code from my phone

*2026-07-29, version 1.7.0*

It’s fantastic. New update to the UI in app could have used some testing before implementing. Initial sessions are not having line breaks which is just annoying UX

overall this solves a big pain until Claude finally creates an easier way to seamlessly go between phone and computer while keeping sessions on the end server

### 5/5 — Godly

*2026-06-24*

God

### 5/5 — Overall very good

*2026-06-20, version 1.7.0*

Awesome app. But yolo features still not true yolo, asking permission for bash operations

### 5/5 — crash report

*2026-06-04, version 1.7.0*

It will crash when you click on the file list.
I‘m talking about the modified Git file displayed.

### 5/5 — 非常的棒👍

*2026-05-21, version 1.7.0*

非常的棒👍

### 5/5 — Better then any alternatives

*2026-04-21, version 1.7.0*

Very cool app with better UI then anything else

### 5/5 — Game Changer

*2026-04-20*

I use this all day. Prefer it to Claude code. Working on projects while going about my day to day. Very cool.

### 5/5 — Amazing ✨✨✨✨✨

*2026-03-26, version 1.5.0*

That’s all folks…

### 5/5 — This app is insane

*2026-03-21, version 1.5.0*

As you can see from my nickname, I really only do 5 or 1 star reviews when I leave written feedback. This one goes for 5. I know Claude launched remote controller Claude sessions. I’ve tried it. It’s not close to this. At least not yet. The DX and the amount of things you can set your workflow up to do and leverage Happy is absolutely cracked. And the mobile app experience is incredibly user friendly being able to intuitively take the Claude/codex response context and auto suggest clickable response options even outside of the ones Claude itself asks (I think). Please keep this app going for as long as possible.
