Periodically, I would check the account to see if there was any growth. HappyNest paused accepting new investments a few years back and stated that we should wait while they’re working on changes. Also, there wasn’t an option to withdrawal those funds so I decided to stick with it. It’s now June 2026, and the app no longer works. I cannot visit the HappyNest website. I don’t see a place I can contact to get my investment back either. I’m just happy I didn’t invest more money and got it lost. I believe this app was a scam. It’s a shame things had to come to this. I have had only limited access to my account and funds, and despite submitting a redemption request approximately 24 months ago, I still have not received the requested funds. This delay is unreasonable and, in my view, deeply concerning. Compounding the issue, customer service has ceased responding to my attempts to obtain clarification or resolution. The lack of communication, transparency, and timely processing has left me with little confidence in the company’s handling of customer accounts and redemption requests. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the use of this app. Consumers should exercise extreme caution before entrusting funds to this platform. In situations involving suspected scams or suspicious business conduct, the Better Business Bureau recommends reporting the matter to the Federal Trade Commission through ReportFraud.ftc.gov. I have written to the Better Business Bureau & the Federal Trade Commission. ### 1/5 — Don’t even bother *2026-04-10, version 4.5* So I invested about $100 dollars in this scam. They took my money and I got some dividends then the restructuring came and nothing happened for a long time. Now I can’t even get past the Home Screen to log in. They effectively are just stealing from you. Still no information on when to expect my account to close and money sent. States minimum 6 month hold that turns into years. This is pretty much a similar issue many have already vented about on here regarding this app. I understand they state this is a long term investment and as such you should expect to have your money in for the long haul. So I understood that it would take time to receive my money back if I ever asked to pull it. The problem is in the length of time it takes to get the money back, as I’ve been waiting almost two years for mine. Their first response was that redemptions were paused because there was some sort of restructuring going on so no dividends were payed out and you couldn’t buy or sell. Then it came back and each quarterly board meeting by passes by and the redemption isn’t approved. They won’t even notify you if the request wasn’t approved. They still have my money that was used in the purchase of the real estate but I guess since I requested a redemption they get to keep using my money and I don’t see any dividends. I feel like I should be getting something while they still have my funds considering it isn’t a quick process. ### 1/5 — Thieves *2026-02-07, version 4.5* This app shouldn’t even be allowed up still. I have followed all of the terms of service requirements to redeem my shares and they still won’t. They were hiding behind a SEC situation but that should have been resolved months ago and they don’t even bother replying to emails how. This is straight thievery. I read the TOS carefully and meet all the requirements and have got over a year. On top of all that there have been zero earnings as well.
