Harbor is the modern feed reader you didn’t know you needed. Follow the people, blogs, and feeds you care about, with no ads and no algorithms. It’s a feed reader you can browse casually, with the ability to aggregate from hundreds of sources without feeling too overwhelming. Harbor keeps its unified timeline manageable with a unique feed rating system. When you subscribe to a feed, you can tell Harbor you’re a “casual reader” or a “completionist” for that feed. Harbor then tries to ensure that you won’t miss a post from that blog you love that only posts once a month, while still allowing you to subscribe to feeds that post dozens of times per day. If I wanted to do that I would just go to the website directly… ### 5/5 — Love it! *2021-12-07* This app definitely accomplishes its goal with a clean and simple interface, much less bloated than some of the other readers out there. Works well and looks great! ### 2/5 — Another disappointing download *2021-08-01* At first glance, Harbor showed real promise as an RSS reader. Stylish design and easy to navigate - the free version limits you to 5 feeds, and all flows smoothly. I really liked the layout and style of this, so I opted to subscribe monthly for a low fee - and that’s when it all went downhill. It became impossible to add any further feeds, and the refresh rate of the feeds themselves is ridiculous - I’m sure you could have a weekend away and the feeds would still be refreshing when you got back! So the app becomes utterly useless. I contacted the developer but didn’t get a response. I’ve since found a better app that does it’s job perfectly, so Harbor got uninstalled.
