Internal and external disks are treated as a non-customizable group which is problematic as external Thunderbolt NVMe drives are incorrectly counted as internal. When a disk has several APFS volumes the widgets just show total APFS container disk usage. So all APFS volumes on a disk show equal usage I have 1 TB of true internal space, but 6 TB of external NVMe is counted as internal. I specifically got this app so I could see how full my 1TB internal is, and know I need to offload stuff. It’s a balancing act because I want my most critical files to stay internal if possible so I’m not dependent on TBT disks when I’m mobile. The large "list of internal disks" does let me see the TBT4 and internal disks separately, but it doesn’t discriminate for volumes using the same APFS backing store, so if I added just one more APFS volume then this lone useful widget now isn’t gonna cut it. Suggested improvements: - Allow ignoring specific disks or filesystems. - Only show usage of a APFS volume itself, it useless to see the container disk usage on a granular volume view - Option to display only device capacity, ignoring individual volumes. - Correctly categorize Thunderbolt disks as external, or allow manual specification - Increase customization options for widgets, let me specify on a per-widget-basis which disk to monitor ### 3/5 — I set its refresh time to 6000 seconds it crashes *2024-06-04* I set its refresh time to 6000 seconds it crashes 0.0 ### 3/5 — Widgets not available *2023-12-28, version 1.1.9* Unable to find widgets on ios 17.2.1 ### 3/5 — OK but *2023-01-16* doesnt show free disk space but how much space is used. sounds petty but is not in line to every standard windows and macos. confusing. taskbar icon shows only one drive. detailed view doesnt show aligned numbers. ### 3/5 — Home page widget has disappeared… (updated) *2022-09-17* The widget (the purpose of the app) disappeared with the last update. Tried sending a support message but the webpage kept throwing up an error. Going to assume the developers focus was on the new Lock Screen widgets. Update: widgets back for iOS 15 users a few days later. Revised from 1 to 3 stars. (Fixed) Doesn’t work, and tried to contact developers before posting a review but it just takes me to a search box with no option to contact. Anyway, the app says it doesn’t recognize my device. Can’t be closed because it apparently operates in the background, not like a normal app. that you open and quit.
