Has a really tangible post apocalyptic vibe that makes it worth while to fans of the genre. It’s short but it’s a good play experience for what it’s costs. ### 4/5 — Fun! *2019-12-24* It took me a while to really fall in love with this game. I restarted this game around a dozen times until I finally started to understand how I want to play. There are many different ways to play Max, and the combat system is fun but you have to be careful while walking to not activate a fight that you don’t want yourself in. I’m currently playing him as a “good guy” but after I beat the game I think I will restart and try him as a “bad guy”. I’m addicted to this game and I wish the devs will make a sequel!! ### 3/5 — Great potential *2019-09-09* The interface and graphics are really good. Easy to pick up, good backstory. In game there’s very little to do other than walk around and look for boxes and fight bandits. Often there are too many bandits or they’re too strong and you use up your ammo and armor in one fight. Traders demand a lot for items and leveling up is slow. With some leveling of the combat strengths and some side quests this has the potential to be a lot of fun. ### 4/5 — Прикольно *2019-01-22* Мне понравилось, но слишком легко все делается. Выполняешь первые два задания от заказчиков, а потом убиваешь всех под ряд и собираешь тачку. Это все уж слишком примитивно. Буквально за 3 часа прошёл (сначала пытался о репутации заботиться, но после нескольких смертей понял, что если репутацию в минус сделать, то бандиты тебя не трогают просто так, поэтому можно подойти к ним и впритык расстрелять.) ### 3/5 — Very good with a few problems *2018-09-29* Loved the old school rpg feel of the game as well as the setting and story. Perfectly vague and appropriate for a game that cost $1.25. The game is not without its flaws. The inventory system is very unintuitive and the last encounter is a pretty lame attempt at a last boss. Overall it’s fun if your looking to kill some time and yearn for the turn based rpgs of the 90s. ### 2/5 — Not a finished game *2018-09-05* I appreciate the nostalgia for Fallout, but this is not Fallout. More like a sketch of part of a full game. For 0.99, it’s fun for a couple play throughs. The final fight is somewhat anticlimactic as it appears the ending is the same regardless. Very little replay value because while part locations may change, the process is pretty much the same. We need more ### 5/5 — Отличный fallout-stile *2017-09-07* Шикарная тема Поначалу сложно, но если чуть постараться всё делается ясно. Начните с чтения гайда (он закопан в карте мира). Прокачать персонажа легко убивая волков по окраине карты И главное - не лезть поначалу игры к толпам бандитов больше 2 человек. И к мужику в чёрном тоже не лезть не прокачавшись как следует. ### 4/5 — It's pretty good *2017-04-22* Think of the old isometric RPG games like fallout 1-2. And you have this game. I'd probably argue that this game has a more clearer menu and inventory interface then the original but the original Fallouts had a bit more charm in its graphical and visual concept choices. I've only played the intro level and got killed by guardians when I got to the final part of the level. But what I saw was pretty good it was fun getting into combat. One beef I do have is combat is only initiated after a conversation which I think makes the longer distance weapons kind of useless unless the guy your your talking to before the fight has his friends coming to support him. It's a nice game if you like old fallout and the turn based combat. I hope the developer makes another game like it. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — It tried so hard and fell so short *2023-01-18* This game wants to be Fallout. So badly. But it completely lacks any sort of character depth, humor, or mechanics. Trading seems to be based on a hidden arbitrary value of some sort, the equipment is unimaginative, combat ranges between laughably east and hellacious frustrating, quests are vague and boring. This unpolished game also reuses the same tired dialog as their other games, has atrocious navigation (the map is very close to useless unless you memorized the locations of people you want to talk to). The only thing it has going for it is no ads/in app purchases, but even that isn’t enough to save this clunker. There are a multitude of 1$ games on the App Store; I recommend you skip this one. ### 1/5 — Waste of $2 *2022-09-10* This game could have potential but it’s just sad, I’m gonna beat myself up for a week after wasting $2 on this game. ### 1/5 — Отвратительно! Выйти из режима боя невозможно (если сагрил двух противников после боя — выжить нереально, и теряешь весь инвентарь, без которого что-то сделать просто невозможно из-за кривого баланса — замкнутый круг). Сохранений нет. Нет стартовой локации для начальной прокачки. Не использованные очки хода не прибавляются к защите, а просто сгорают. Броня заканчивается мгновенно. Уровни сложности — три слова, которые ни на что в игре не влияют (не надейтесь провести приятный вечер за интересной игрой — только для задротов). Сюжета нет, диалоги персонажей плоские. GET IT.] Original Fallout-style battle and trading mechanisms with VATS-like targeting (headshots lower % hit but higher damage, arms disarm, legs slow, etc). Although the game is short (you can beat it in 3 hours on normal mode), there’s good replay value by playing through again as a hero or villain (+/- rep). My one desired change is the ability to save the game. Especially wish that would have been possible just before the ending... Those that know, know what I’m saying. Also, let us look on bodies / boxes while in combat (running out of ammo or meds mid-combat means we gotta just give up and die at present). I would absolutely pay $5-10 for a larger version of this game. Maybe add perks and some dialogue with NPCs. Great job, developers! ### 5/5 — The Real Fallout Mobile! *2020-05-27* Great Game! Searching for loot, trading and the turn base fighting style is perfect. Within the near future hopefully the developers would boot a part 2. With more loot and maybe a more in depth character customization. With different issues on different maps to progress. Zero freakin ads without even a shop to spend real cash? Obviously this game isn’t a money grabber. With that alone I deeply appreciate. If there was ever a part 2 to this I’d happily pay up to 5.99 or something along those lines for the game. If it were to turn out to be an online thing I’d probably pay for items as well.
