Often they get just the right roll they need. And now they get doubles upon doubles. 3 double sixes in a row!??? Really!! This game is not realistic and it’s not user friendly either. Trying to figure out how to increase level difficulty (buy tokens but how many do I need?) trying to change rules of play, etc. Anything you want to change cost you $$$. And when playing another (human?) online I’m never sure it’s not a computer player. ### 3/5 — Automatic dice rolls *2025-03-13* I’ve played several different backgammon games and so far I rate this one the highest. And that’s only because the have a way to play where you gave control of the moves if you play multiplayer on tablet. They still have control of the dice rolls, but it’s harder for them to win as much. Die Avatare sehen extrem lächerlich aus, und ich verstehe nicht ganz, weshalb das Spielbrett relativ klein ist und der unruhige Hintergrund hingegen soviel Raum einnimmt. Leider kann man auch keine Coins durch gewonnene Partien gewinnen, sondern nur gegen Geld. Davon abgesehen funktioniert alles soweit gut und die KI ist auch nicht unbesiegbar wie bei so manch anderen Backgammon App. Allerdings hat auch hier die KI in der easy Variante erstaunlich oft 6er Paschs, und kommt nach einem Rauswurf sofort wieder ins Spiel. I bought CDs through the mail, downloaded games online, got them everywhere I could possibly get them. They are the best games on the market. They have better graphics than any other game I have seen. Hardwood games are the crème de la crème! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Game is rigged *2026-03-06* This game cheats, making five moves after rolling doubles, not the four moves you get to make after rolling doubles. The game is rigged and forces you to make moves which result in your opponent rolling just the number needed to hit your marker and send you back to the beginning. When you are near to bearing off your last markers, your opponent hits you and the numbers you need to get down from the bar are not rolled until all of your opponent’s markers have entered the “end zone”, leaving you to try to catch up. I’m done with this game. ### 1/5 — Automatic dice rolls *2025-04-01* I’ve played several different backgammon games and now that I’ve played for awhile now, it’s been deleted. This game is rigged. As most of them are! There is no probability of rolling five to six high number doubles as they do per game. It’s not all about winning every game, but about playing a fair game. I’m disabled an spend several hours of my day playing games like this to try and keep my mind going. I’m not even good at the game, but I did enjoy playing until they started manipulating their plays until you couldn’t win no matter how you played. And if you noticed the reviews they show are from 7 or 8 yrs ago! ### 1/5 — Luv 2 play backgammon *2025-02-06* If you notice they only show positive reviews that are 7yro. But where are all the newer reviews. Did you know that it is illegal to take down reviews. This game of backgammon, just as all the others I’ve played have to cheat to win by rolling doubles or the exact number sequence to position their pieces where needed. Why is it that when I am winning the computer consistently rolls doubles while I continue to get small numbers! AI then hits your open 100% of the time. Some ai toons roll multiple back-to-back doubles every hand. AI rolls exactly what it needs to knock your “forced open” disks off. Could have been a great game. Instead it only cheats every round. ### 1/5 — Dreadful die to compensate for poor AI *2021-03-14* I was getting average die and the AI left exposed pieces. I hit a couple. Then the die changed to ridiculous bias to the AI. The AppleTV version of the game (occasionally) blocks out 100% legal moves. I generally play on level “hard”, and have seen this numerous times. Just now, for the last time. The developers are cheating the opponent every time, so obviously even a novice would pick up their on it.
