## What is Hare Krishna Books?

Hare Krishna Books with its branches located all over the world was Started in 1944 with a Back to Godhead magazine by AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
Along with our other Hare Krishna centers worldwide & with our own multinational publishing house, Bhakti Vedanta Book Trust (BBT) founded in 1972 we have become the world’s largest publisher of Indian scriptures in more than 90 languages.
Bhagavad Gita as it is by Swami Prabhupada has sold over 26 million copies so far & has become the largest-selling edition of the Gita in the world & the standard reference edition of the Gita worldwide.
