ZERO STARS ! *2026-01-05, version 1.9.5* Just read all the reviews because every one of them is true and is exactly what I’m experiencing with my audio system. ### 1/5 — Won’t connect *2025-07-04, version 1.9.5* Can’t get the app to connect to the bike. Awesome idea and would love it if it did. *2024-12-26, version 1.9.5* I was hopeful considering it’s with Rockford and Harley but when I went to upload my new 2034 road glide with upgraded stage 3 hd/rf speakers all around it literally froze my bike up. I had to pull the main fuse on the bike to get it to even play music again. Needless say I deleted it right away. Please work on this all! Thousands of dollars spent and this app will not connect to get the most out of my investment. Harley Davidson has a reputation to uphold and should find a new audio partner if Rockford Fosgate isn’t going to match the quality. ### 1/5 — Harley or Rockford coders incompetent? *2024-07-04, version 1.9.5* I've read through the reviews because I too am trying to connect the expensive speakers to my bike and it's the same issue with the pin everyone else seems to be having. The same canned response from Rockford "please email us" blah blah blah. Hey Rockford, if you're reading these reviews stop telling people to email you and answer with a solution so that other riders can troubleshoot on their own without having to call Harley or Rockford and talk to a tech that doesn't know what they're doing. When I installed a stage 2 Rockford amp and speakers on my 23 RG it would not link up or even allow any sound. I was forced to take it to the dealer and pay for a flash. I just added the bag speakers tonight and guess what.. nothing works! no sound! A couple of thousand dollars later and the app downloaded it connected once. Now it keeps telling me it can’t connect. Doesn’t ask for a pin. I reloaded the app. Now it can’t find my bike. Very frustrating. If I had to do it all over again I would pass. I shouldn’t need a cheap app to make my system sound good. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2023-10-07, version 1.9.5* Doesn’t consistently connect to my amplifier. I can manually connect it and it will loose the connection. Will sometimes randomly connect and disconnect. Very frustrating. Paid a lot of money for a motorcycle and sound system doesn’t work without this app. The only way to hear the sound consistently is to try to raise and lower the volume with my phone’s volume buttons which can be hard to do. ### 1/5 — Don’t bother *2023-09-04, version 1.9.5* I left an honest review with the issues I was having. I received a response to contact the support team via email so I did and no response. Not sure whacking on there is almost no support I could find. Really pathetic. ### 1/5 — No good *2026-04-04, version 2.6.0* New update not working, phone won’t connect to bike, can’t set the amps now 🙄 ### 1/5 — Not happy atm *2026-04-02, version 1.9.5* My bike is a 2025 LR ST and I picked up my bike yesterday after having engine and exhaust work done and while they had the bike I had them install the Rockford speakers for the LR ST. Dealer helped me connect to speakers and they sounded fantastic. I didn’t use them on way home but after getting home I wanted to mess around with some of the adjustments to the sound but something was wrong. The sound was intermittently cutting out like every second. I was tired so waited til next evening after work. Same issue. I uninstalled my music app and reinstalled it and same thing. I was thinking maybe the firmware might need updated but can’t find an update anywhere and when I try to do an update within the app it just closes the app and does nothing. I’m giving this a 1 star and if things are fixed I’ll update my review if able to. ### 1/5 — Connectivity *2026-04-01, version 1.9.5* It takes me at least 3 to 4 times to connect to my stereo. The bike and stereo is less than a year old. I have the I phone 17 pro max and it is frustrating to have these issues on a new system. Especially on one that is as expensive as it is. Simple adjustments but needs to be able to switch to Fahrenheit for users that don’t typically us Celsius. ### 4/5 — Pin wasn’t working but now it is. *2023-05-21, version 1.9.5* If you keep having to input your pin over and over and it won’t let you into the app itself. I tried resetting the pin and no luck. I talked with Rockford and Harley. A person from Rockford that didn’t even work in the department that developed the app or the system finally helped me out and we troubleshooted and he finally said he thought it was a hardware issue. I finally took it to my Harley shop and they were also stumped on why we couldn’t get into the app when using the pin. We finally just tried a new Bluetooth dongle and it worked like a charm. Apparently the dongle went bad. Tech support needs to be more accessible when these problems occur. Still to this day Rockford and Harley were unable to direct me in the right direction to get some help. So I want to say thank you to the Rockford employee that took the time to help me out and he doesn’t even have anything to do with the development of this system and app. ### 3/5 — No documentation *2021-05-11, version 1.2.8* Purchased a 21 FLHXS and had my dealer install the Stage 2 system in the fairing and saddle bag lids. It appears that the Bass and Treble settings in the GTS interact with the Rockford audio settings in this app. Unfortunately there is no documentation how to setup the two systems to work together or any kind of user guide. For the 3K I spent I was expecting a more refined experience. The RF Stage 2 system is good but no where as good as the Boom Stage II in my 18 FLHXSE The Boom Stage II is bi-amped and has much clearer sound. To be fair it is also 900 watts which is double the RF 458. UPDATED 5/11/21 Upon experimenting I have made the following discoveries. Set the GTS bass and treble dead center. Use the RF/ HD app and choose the Flat DSP profile. Then use the GTS Fader setting and move the sound way back towards the saddle bags. The sound becomes much more enveloping and vibrant. I am happy with the system now. It would still be nice to see some kind of documentation. ### 3/5 — PMX HD9813 *2021-04-27, version 1.2.8* Cannot connect to PMX HD9813. Which it apparently is not designed to do so I’m not sure how it will work so I rated it a 3 ### 2/5 — Trouble connecting with new Iphone 17 *2026-04-11, version 2.6.0* Ive had the RF Audio on my 22 LowRider ST and never had any problems until I got my new IPhone 17. Now it rarely connects, or it cuts out constantly. The Harley dealer can’t figure it out. The y got it to properly connect once and when bike was turned off and then back on SILENCE. I hope yall fix the glitch with the IPhone 17 soon. ### 2/5 — Issues *2026-02-17, version 1.9.5* Having a lot of connectivity issues with the new iPhone 17 Pro. Have only had issues since I have switched to the new phone Harley can you please update your software so it is compatible with the new phones on the market. This problem includes not connecting right away, not playing music at all, skipping, and having to delete the phone and re-add it several times very inconvenient. ### 2/5 — Dead App *2024-08-21, version 1.9.5* Apparently, this app is non-functioning. It hasn’t had an update in two years. And just like all the other reviewers this app does not connect to my 2023 SE. I called the 800 number and I was told my motorcycle needs a dongle. Holly Service said that isn’t true and The dongle already exists on the screaming Eagle road glide and the blue tooth helmets work fine. What a shame.
