To clarify, every new user receives 100 gift gems that they can use to play for free. Additionally, there are many features are completely free, such as piano lessons, sight reading lessons and chord library (and more). If you don't see your gift gems, please contact us at contact@harmono.app and we are happy to help! ### 1/5 — Costs money *2026-02-22* I really liked this app for the first day it seemed like it would have been good long term, but then after the first 20 minutes it said I had to pay for a subscription and there was no free version, this would have been nice to know before downloading the app **Developer response:** Thank you for liking this app! This review appears to be based on a misunderstanding. Our app does provide a free version, including multiple free sight-reading lessons that can be used without any subscription. We also offer free trial sessions for new users, and there is no time-based limit such as a “20-minute limit.” Users can use their free sessions at their own pace, and the remaining sessions are clearly displayed in the app. A subscription is only required for users who choose to unlock unlimited access. We want to keep the experience clean and focused, and to support the ongoing server and development costs required to provide the service. We are committed to being transparent and fair. If you have any further questions or misunderstandings, please feel free to contact us. ### 5/5 — This is the GOAT of piano apps *2026-08-19* For context, I am a beginner who just want to play a few songs I love during my free times, and during the six months that I had this app I learned so much! I started with the simplified version of Clair de Lune, progressed step by step following the instructions, and now 500,000 notes later (yes the app can track this and can tell you how many notes you have played!) I can now play moonlight sonata movement 1 and it doesn’t sound half bad! Compared to other piano apps I find 2 things particularly useful: 1) extremely accurate note detection and the ability to show what you played wrong in real time even in dense passages 2) very detailed feedback after you play- it keeps telling me that I am pausing too much between measures, and this was verified by a pianist friend I have listening to my play - how cool is that! It works the best with a piano key sticker for beginners to get use to sight reading and start playing.
