Can be used on its own. Everything was never in sync with my tempo. It was driving me crazy, making me think this app was too hard to use and not for me. Then, I figured my Logic was set up for 48khz, and switched it to 44.1, and bam. It worked… and wow… just setting 2 midi notes on a loop, and playing with the settings, I came up with hundreds of beautiful melodies. After understanding what each option does by trial and error, I understood how I can not just create, but evolve these melodies in real time. This is criminally cheap for what it can do. It blows my collection of midi sequencers out of the water, and it’s so easy to use once you spend a few minutes understanding it.
