### 4/5 — Почему не могу бить босса

*2026-08-23*

Не могу просмотреть бесплатную рекламу( очень хочу) echo eсенцию.

### 4/5 — Good online grind of skills but…

*2026-04-23, version 1.63.1*

It was mentioned in other reviews, but battling should be doable offline. To combat the way the other skills grind offline where you can go from 1 to 100 if you left it alone long enough, perhaps cap the experience you can gain? The other thing that is frustrating is the insight mini game. You have to guess a code with the code getting longer and longer depending on the level. It will tell you how many numbers are in the right spots vs the wrong, but it doesn’t tell you which ones are in the correct spots as far as I can tell. So it is basically still random as to guessing the code. Very frustrating seeing you have 4/6 right, not knowing which 4, and then your next 5 guesses are all worse guesses because of it.

### 3/5 — Remove The Mini Games From Important Skills

*2026-04-17, version 1.63.1*

Game absolutely slows progress on skill gains unnecessarily. You have to play mini games that shouldn’t be needed to improve certain skills; including Scholar egregiously, as that skill increases your general exp gains. Imbibing - which has a ticket requirement as the ONLY skill that has a set resource cost, is redundant by using monster points to make your potion count infinite. It does increase effect, in decimal point values, so YMMV. You WILL find skill gains for battling take HOURS for one level past level 50. And the best gear takes 151 to 175 levels of X stat (plus resource costs - so levels in Mining & Forging are hard required) which boils down to it being very defeating. If you could JUST grind each skill without pointless add ons; even at slow rates for scholar & Zen, it’d be a marked improvement. The way it stands seems more like you want players to pay for X convenience.

### 3/5 — Good Until Recent Ad Update

*2026-03-31*

Fun game with great depth. Unfortunately the latest update made watching ads a requirement to do daily battle missions. Pretty sad as I have already spent $10 on the game for the pass and now I would have to still watch an ad every day if I want to do all the daily missions.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback and for supporting the game with the Adventure Pass. The daily mission is tied to claiming the free Echo Dungeon challenge token, which is intended as an optional bonus rather than required progression. I've tried to keep ad-based rewards limited and non-intrusive, while ensuring all core content remains accessible without them.

### 5/5 — My go to idle game

*2025-12-20*

Solo dev very much in touch with players via discord and the community is very friendly.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the game, and hope you enjoy future updates!

### 5/5 — Optimized & Has Depth

*2025-12-15*

Incredibly well optimized, I've had the game open for nearly an hour and lost only 2% battery. Great depth in each skill, great variety of tasks, always have things to do. Each grind feels like it has weight & the correct balance of rarity & abundance. With how much info can be presented on one page, i'm impressed on how concise & digestible it is. Could recommend this to anyone from a beginner to a completionist.

A few social features down the road like user profiles/'players in this area:' & I'd consider this one of the best mobile idle 'MMO's by far!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review! I appreciate the feedback, as more social features would make the game feel more lively. Glad to hear you're enjoying Harpagia so far, and hope you enjoy future updates!

### 5/5 — Great game

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review! Awesome to hear, and hope you enjoy future updates!

Melvor idle style game without the excessive tedium. Straightforward grinding and goals and growth with inventory
Management

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review!! Glad to hear you're enjoying the game, and hope you enjoy future updates!

### 5/5 — Idle RPG

*2025-11-20*

I tried this out a few weeks ago and It keeps drawing me back in. Fun progression and flair definitely worth checking out. Lots of frequent updates and good content. The endgame progression is very satisfying

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review!! Glad to hear you're enjoying the game, and hope you enjoy future updates!

### 5/5 — Обновление убрали офлайн доход

*2025-11-18*

После обновление , после этого больше не работает офлайн доход! Пофиксите

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review. Offline progression is a core part of Harpagia and was not removed. If you're still experiencing this issue, please use the in-game Support option and include your user ID along with any details that may help reproduce the problem.

### 4/5 — Pretty good, needs balancing

*2025-11-17*

Overall pretty enjoyable. It needs to be rebalanced across the board. Zen is extremely difficult to get to auto play which is very frustrating. You get through the initial monsters very very quickly and then it’s a slow burn from there, probably to get you to buy gems or something. Various things need to be rebalanced.. like buying the tickets for imbibing vs just guessing at 99%. Should also be able to do combat offline to some capacity that’s not a dummy. Trading doesn’t really make much sense not sure what that’s for. Needs a lot more variation in equipment as well, you basically get to the second from the best tier in a day or two and never really upgrade again from there. $99 packages are absolutely insane as well.. hopefully they continue to expand and improve on the game as it has potential but I’m not sure if there’s really the ability to play for more than a week or two at the moment.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review! The initial tiers are to get you to understand the game mechanics, and the best gear come from the bosses which you won't be able to unlock until much later on. There's more than 1 year of content so you may not have unlocked all the different content yet. If you would like any tips or understanding how trading works, feel free to jump into our Discord! We have tons of members who can help out with progression. Thank you for trying out Harpagia!

### 3/5 — Good idle but prizes….

*2025-10-15, version 1.50.1*

I really enjoy playing games like this and I really enjoy playing this in specific, but the amount you have to pay for the aura boost and charm boxes are too high. To be fair you can unlock most of the charms by playing the game. Still… gem prizes and aura boost is way too expensive. It’s not even an option for supporting the game. More expensive than a triple A game.

### 5/5 — It’s pretty fun but I’m always broke tbh

*2025-09-12*

All of it is fun but my only bad thing is that I just lose money way to fast like one second I’m a billionaire the next I’m more broke than sand which isn’t a bad thing mind you but what is a bad thing is how slow it takes to get money back

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review! I would recommend getting the beggar to boost your income massively, and try to unlock some charms, increase your begging level, upgrading some gem upgrades for begging, etc. There are tons of upgrades you can choose from, and eventually you will have trillions of gold.

Hope you enjoy the game!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Accessibility?!?!

*2026-03-08, version 1.59.1*

The in-game font is tiny. This game is totally inaccessible to anyone with less than perfect eye sight. There’s a complete lack of any setting to make the font size any bigger.

### 1/5 — Heavy in game purchases required

*2026-01-26*

$140 to $240 of required in game purchases to unlock the charms and auracle.

Charms are really not feasible to get via “luck “. Theres one that doubles all xp. Without it you’re playing the game at half speed. Requires a school score of 15. Over 200 or so tedious minigames the max possible score is 9-11 in most games. 13 was possible in only 2-3 games. Its not skill its luck (well under 1% of games) if the score is even possible.

Expect many many hours in tedious mini games for luck or to have to spend $200 to even play the game as designed.

**Developer response:** Hey there! Sorry to hear about your frustration with the minigames. All minigames when played optimally can be completed within 30 minutes. If you are having trouble solving them, feel free to join our Discord for help! We have a large friendly community willing to give tips and help, and no purchases are needed. Thank you for trying out Harpagia!

### 1/5 — Cash grab

*2025-07-17*

Doesn’t reinvent the wheel at all (it’s like a very very basic RuneScape like idle RPG) and punishes you for closing the game by changing 2 second action time to 2 minutes when the game is closed. And pushes the usual QoL micro transactions to counter this which shows it’s not only a bad design choice but intentional because $$$

Plenty of idle RPGs out there no reason to play one with a lack of content or identity and does the biggest mobile idle RPG sin of punishing you for idling with the app closed.

**Developer response:** As a result of your feedback, the offline gains have been improved significantly as of the latest update. Your idle rewards now are accumulated at the same in-app rate (2 seconds), and can be improved further via other upgrades. I appreciate your feedback in improving Harpagia!

### 1/5 — Garbage offline progress

*2025-07-05, version 1.40.1*

It's a purely idle game with terrible offline idle progress. An action which takes 2 seconds while burning your phone battery takes 2 minutes when saving your phone battery by being offline. Game is pure IAP bait to get you to skip the offline penalties.

### 2/5 — Begging??

*2026-01-23, version 1.57.1*

Why is the method for grinding gold Begging? Can’t we have honest employment? Questing/Adventuring? Anything, that isn’t just being a freeloader on society?

### 2/5 — Fun enough for a little while

*2025-10-29*

Pretty enjoyable incremental up until you clear the ‘standard’ enemies.

Seems to have been developed with the mindset that playtime is the only metric that matters putting aside whether what the player is expected to do is clearly communicated or remotely fun.

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear your frustration with the game! It should only take a couple days to clear the standard enemies, but once you reach the superior tier of enemies, you are expected to grind other things other than only combat. Once you face more difficult enemies, you'll need to level up all your other skills and items in order to continue progressing.

Regardless, thank you for trying out the game!

### 2/5 — Engaging at first and then completely spoils the experience

*2025-09-11*

At first it looks like a fun variation of Melvor, but then it starts to look more like a predatory toxic sibling 1. To make meaningful progress, you have to keep the app open 2. The progression curve is very fast in the beginning and gets extremely slow in the mid game. So at some point you end up just need to keep your phone on for hours at a time just to make a dent in your progress. Offline progression is very meaningless at that point 3. Monetization. - There are short auras you can get by watching adds, and the premium purchase does not remove them. It’s like paying for higher tier of Netflix and still having ads. - the game heavily incentivizes using gems (the premium currency). Do you want to keep the app open and click the same button for an hour, or do you just want to use two gems? While you get a lot of gems in the beginning, as your progress slows down, you barely get any. 4. Some mechanics just don’t make sense to me. Like auto-resurrection - once you unlock it, it’s so prohibitively expensive, that one use would cost hours of progress - and that’s exactly what happened to me once I accidentally used it. Sure, there are upgrades that eventually would make it more affordable, but why even have it in the beginning that it punishes you for using it? I seriously considered getting premium in the beginning just to support the dev, but having played a bit more it almost feels disrespectful to self to pay for something that doesn’t respect you

**Developer response:** Hey there! To answer your comments:

1. There has been a massive buff to the offline progression recently, so feel free to update your app to the latest version (1.49.1). You no longer need to keep your phone on to have the same online progression.

2. The progress slows down, but I wouldn't say it's extremely slow. Once you enter the midgame, there are lots more different types of upgrades that you can upgrade, like sigils, additional MP boosts, gem upgrades, farming pets, blessings, achievements, etc. All these will help increase your progression but you will need to unlock more in order to progress faster.

3. You earn many more gems once you enter the late game. During the mid game, gem progression slows down because you earn fewer levels, but once you increase your luck level, unlock some charms, and the enhanced gem trigger upgrade, you will earn many gems per day, and purchasing gems is never required. 95% of our players are purely F2P. Furthermore, if you choose to purchase premium and support the game, you can access trading and can sell items to other players for Gems. This is a way of farming items for other players to earn gems for yourself!

4. Perks like auto resurrection are expensive at first, but you are supposed to upgrade the MP upgrades further. You don't need to use the perk right away, you can unlock the upgrades over time.

The game has been balanced to respect your time and support F2P players well, as evidenced by our massive F2P community. I hope that these can resolve any of your concerns, and keep in mind that Harpagia is a grindy game. You shouldn't expect to have all the upgrades unlocked within your first few weeks, or even your first few months. Hope you enjoyed the game otherwise!

### 2/5 — New Update

*2025-09-02*

I used to constantly play this game daily, however I found with the new update it feels like I’m being punished for idling in an idle RPG. Since the new update whether I’m idling a skill or in battle it feels like every time I check my screen the skilling or battle has stopped.

**Developer response:** Hey there! This was a bug in a previous update and is not intended. This bug should have been fixed. Also, you no longer have to stay on the skill page to get your idle rewards, there is a recent new feature where the background activity will automatically calculate your idle rewards.

If you run into any other issues or have questions, feel free to join our Discord! I apologize for the bugs, and these issues have already been fixed.

### 2/5 — Great game if you didn’t have to stay on the specific page

*2025-07-16*

I like this game quite a bit, but I won’t be able to continue it as it has one major flaw. You have to stay on the specific page of whatever you’re doing, if you leave to go to another page it stops all progression, not just on combat, all skills. This makes the game not playable in my opinion. I don’t have hours to just let my phone idle screen on for months to get anywhere in the game.

**Developer response:** As of a recent update, you no longer need to stay on the same page to get your exp gains! You can navigate around the app while earning experience. I hope you give Harpagia another chance!

### 3/5 — Fun game with a lot of systems

*2026-06-02, version 1.66.1*

Reminds me a little bit of Melvor Idle but not as complex and certainly not as well documented. Purchased an Adventure Pack and it seems to be device locked and cannot be used on the account with multiple devices. Not sure if this is intended or not as I’m not going to purchase that twice.

I think considering this is a solo developer this is a great start and I look forward to its development.

Some criticisms:

Cloud saves are not ideally implemented. This means you can really only play on one device which is limiting if you want to use a tablet sometimes and a phone other times while traveling. Since it is meant for offline play, worrying about exploits is inconsequential.

Some of the systems are convoluted without clear understanding of how they impact the game. More descriptions should be included.

UI for battle screen is odd as I have to click on the skill I’m actively levelling (I.e. defence) in order to see its true level else it shows be the combined level with equipment. This is a basic stat and an adventure pack should not be required to see it on the battle screen without clicking on a skill.

If purchases are for a device only they should clearly state that they are not account-wide (unless of course this is unintended).

There are a lot of menus and nested menus. I understand this will be challenging due to the nature of the game too, but it is a bit confusing at times to navigate. Consider a tablet mode as well that would allow a more intuitive UI with landscape mode an option.

### 5/5 — Отзыв и просьба

*2026-07-24*

### 5/5 — Great community (discord) and game

*2026-07-08*

Love idle games and this has scratched my itch for months and I believe it will continue to do that for the foreseeable future for sure

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the game, and hope you enjoy future updates!

### 5/5 — Grabbed me and won’t let go

*2026-06-25, version 1.68.1*

This game… what can I say? One hell of an active community, a developer that listens and acts on player feedback, and a brilliant idle game that, as the title states, grabbed me and won’t let go!

Been playing for just under a year, watching and enjoying the game growing.

Big up Soup, big up the Discord, and big up Harpagia :)

### 5/5 — Playing for months

*2026-06-19*

Great game. Been playing for months. There’s IAPs, but everything can be earned in game. I would recommend some of the QOL IAPs to support the dev though. Over the past 6 months that I’ve played the devs has added a ton, including a new skill (archeology), more battle modes, and even trading. Really excited to see what else they have planned.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the kind words and for playing for so many months! It really means a lot to have your support. I'm glad you've enjoyed all the updates, and I hope you continue to enjoy everything that's still to come. Thanks again!

### 5/5 — Like Melvor but different

*2026-04-27, version 1.64.1*

Do you like UI based idle games in the style of Melvor? If so you should try this out, its quite good.

### 5/5 — Echo dungeon

*2026-04-14*

Please fix bug with add at echo dungeon can’t receive rewards

**Developer response:** Some regions (including Russia) may have limited or blocked access to ads due to external restrictions from the ad provider.

Because of this, ads may not load or reward properly. This isn’t a bug with the game, and it’s not something I can control or override.

If ads are available, the “Remove Ads” purchase allows you to receive rewards without watching ads. However, availability of purchases may also vary by region.

### 5/5 — Opinion of a non-gamer

*2026-03-21*

As a non-gamer who usually finds mobile apps overwhelming, Harpagia is a great fit for me. It strikes a balance of consistently rewarding game play but refreshingly lacks the addictive gimmicks that would normally lead me to burn out on it. It’s a perfect game to play at your leisure without demanding constant attention.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the thoughtful review! This is actually one of the core goals I had when designing Harpagia. I wanted to create a game that rewards long-term progress without demanding constant attention or relying on aggressive engagement tactics. I'm glad it's been a good fit for your playstyle, and I appreciate the support!

### 5/5 — Fun game for busy people

*2026-03-08, version 1.59.1*

Great game to have in the background easy to pick up and play then put down

### 5/5 — Great game

*2026-01-07*

Loving this game, by far one of the best games of this style I have played.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review! Awesome to hear, and hope you enjoy future updates!

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! I'm glad you're enjoying the variety of activities, minigames, and offline progression. I also agree that having long-term goals makes achievements feel more meaningful. Good luck the minigame challenges!
