Had the app for a while but now it won't automatically download the monthly edition? Harpers say it's not there problem as do the people at Apple!!?

I always love getting the latest edition and its easier for me to get on my iPad then at the store (yes realise I'm probably just lazy). Sadly they haven't added anything from the print edition to this experience with this iPad app. You can often see the line in the middle for the two page ad spreads - maybe they will bring out some extras for the app in the future.

Both the iPhone and iPad apps fail to recognise my login details, so I cannot access my subscription at all. No such problems on the website, but what’s the point of the digital subscription if I can’t access the digital edition? This is the only magazine that has this problem.

Update Jan 2018: I switched my sub to Hearst as it was supposed to be easier for Hearst than me subscribing via Apple. I’ve had problems with the App not acknowledging my subscription in 3 of 6 months so far. I honestly cannot be bothered with this any more. Back to Zinio, life is too short for the hassle of this App ... 

Ongoing problems with download. Both Apple and Hearst say it's not their problem. Neither have a problem taking the subscription money. Poor service. Rubbish App. That'll be no renewal from me, 😡

The app has suddenly stopped functioning properly since the beginning of July 2017. 
The August issue doesn't even display on the main screen -even though I have a subscription from within the app.
I have tried everything, to no avail.
I have reported this to customer service - still no real answer after 3 days.
I can't be the only person who has complained...
It's a pity that such a good magazine has such an unreliable app.

I love this magazine,and have been reading it since the 1960's when it was Harpers and Queen. When it became harder to find the print addition, I found I could download to my ipad. It tajes FOREVER to download. I have now paid for the March 2017 issue and it will not download. Why? I am able download Vogue and Tatler, what gives?
