## What is Hart of the Preces?

Hart of the Preces is a personal initiative to make the Preces (prayers) of Opus Dei available to all people of good will. The Preces is a set of prayers in Latin which are said daily by the members of Opus Dei to honour God and to pray for the needs of all people. 

This app has the following features:
•	The Latin prayers
•	Prayer translations – currently in English, Italian, Spanish, French or German
•	Information about where each verse comes from in Scripture or Tradition
•	Audios to aid pronunciation – normal speed and slow speed. Click on the audio icon to access.
•       Latin grammar - click on a word to see its translation and parsing (grammatical form)
•	Pictures – use either default pictures or choose your own to help you pray
•	Video tutorials to help you understand the Latin
•	Optional highlight function to aid concentration or study

Fixed some graphical glitches introduced by iOS 26.1.

Latin parsing function has recently been added.
Click the audio icon to access audios; click a word to access parsing.
Toggle audio or parsing on or off with toolbar buttons.

Full language support for Italian, Spanish, German and French, English. Click on a Latin word to see its definition and parsing. Audios are now accessed by clicking the speaker icon next to the verse. Pope Leo is now added.

### 1.1 — 2025-01-20

You can play the audio of the entire Preces (from the toolbar button) even when the audio toggle is set to off. Tapping on verses will still be disabled.
Rainbow glow reminder box has been amended - previous version was causing crashes.
