## What is Haru Danim?

Haru Danim — a visit to your day

A habit and time tracker: log time and counts with a single tap, and shape your day with goals and quests.

■ How it works
• Create an "action" and tap once — time tracking (start/stop toggle) or count logging (+1), recorded instantly
• Track several actions at the same time; while tracking, see it live in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen
• Organize actions with color-coded tags, and automatically ignore accidental short sessions

■ Goals & quests
• Under a big "goal", create actionable "quests" — daily, weekly, monthly, or a custom period
• Fine-grained rules: every day / specific weekdays or dates / reach-at-least or stay-under / count only until a daily deadline
• Daily, weekly and monthly progress plus streaks; goals are judged automatically when their end date passes
• Set your own achievement threshold from 10–100%

■ History & stats
• A daily list and a 24-hour timetable (day/week) show your records at a glance
• Charts by tag and by action (daily/weekly/monthly) with totals and averages
• When charts feel empty early in a week or month, switch to a rolling last-7/30-days view
• Export exactly what you see as a high-resolution image report
• Back up all data to CSV files (free plan included) — Premium adds CSV import to restore records
• Clear out long-accumulated records with Data Cleanup & Reset — with a CSV backup and a keepsake summary report before anything is deleted
• See today's Apple Health data (steps, exercise, sleep and more) as tiles on the Home tab — values never leave your device

■ Go further with Premium
• Unlimited actions, goals and quests
• Home Screen & Lock Screen widgets — run and stop right from the widget, progress rings and charts
• Launch from Control Center and the Action button
• Apple Watch app and complications — track from your wrist, with an Action Log complication showing totals on your watch face
• Siri Shortcuts — "Hey Siri, start tracking Reading in Haru Danim"
• iCloud sync across iPhone, iPad and Mac
• Diary on iPhone, iPad and Mac — a daily summary page plus free-form notes (Apple Pencil on iPad, finger drawing on iPhone, mouse and keyboard on Mac), with your own PDF page templates. The summary now includes a health-data card and a timetable with your sleep and workouts laid in
• CSV import — bring actions and records back from your exported CSVs
• Health quests — goals from Apple Health data like steps, sleep and workout types ("8,000 steps a day," "8 hours of sleep")

This app collects no personal data. Everything stays on your device and (if you turn on sync) in your own iCloud.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5 — 2026-08-28

This update brings Haru Danim closer to Apple Health — and your Apple Watch. And the Diary now opens on iPhone, too.

● Apple Health, connected
• See today's health data — steps, exercise, sleep — as tiles on the Home tab. Values never leave your device
• Build quests from health data (Premium): "8,000 steps a day," "8 hours of sleep," "30 minutes of running" — workouts by type, and pick the quest's color too
• Set a sleep window and sleeping past midnight won't split your night. If some days you sleep in the daytime, tune the display window per weekday
• See metric trends with totals and daily averages on the Stats tab, and the day's health values on the History tab

● A bigger Diary (Premium)
• The Diary tab is now on iPhone — review your day, and turn on Draw to write on note pages with your finger
• The daily summary gains a Health Data card with that day's values
• Sleep and workouts now appear on the Diary and History timetables at their actual times — with colors you can customize

● Action Log complication for Apple Watch
• See an action's running total (day, this week, this month, last 7/30 days) right on your watch face
• While tracking it turns into a yellow timer — tap to start or stop from the watch app

● And more
• Performance improvements across the app — goals, quests, and widgets feel noticeably smoother
• The entire in-app guide has been rewritten to read more naturally, with how-tos for the new features
• Using several devices? Please update Haru Danim on all of them

### 1.4 — 2026-08-12

• Now available from iOS 18 — enjoy Haru Danim on iPhone XS/XR and older iPads too
• Stats gained 'View as Last 7/30 Days' — when charts feel empty early in a week or month, switch to the most recent 7 or 30 days ending today. The stats widget offers the same periods
• Data Cleanup & Reset is here — clear long-accumulated records entirely or up to a chosen date, or delete just your diaries to free up space taken by photos and handwriting. Before deleting, create a CSV backup and a summary report (PDF/image) that captures your records at a glance
• Data Export now supports custom ranges, and diaries can be deleted right after exporting to free up space
• Apple Pencil writing feels smoother — we removed the tiny hitch that crept in with every stroke on long pages

### 1.3 — 2026-08-05

• Shapes and text boxes in diary notes got a proper upgrade — drag a rectangle's corners, a circle's edges, or either end of an arrow or line to reshape them freely. The moment something becomes a perfect square or circle, the handles turn yellow and gently snap
• Text boxes now let you type right in place, line breaks included. Text size, bold, alignment, and borders (color and width) are new too
• Shapes gained color, line width, fill, corner radius, and rotation editing
• Handwriting on PDF and photo templates now keeps the exact colors you picked, regardless of Light or Dark Mode — fixing writing done in Dark Mode being invisible on other devices

### 1.2 — 2026-08-01

• Already the third version within a week of launch — I use the app every day myself, and little things just keep catching my eye.
• When a weekly or monthly quest has already met its target, the daily progress now shows 'Done this week' or 'Done this month' instead of 0% — so you can see at a glance that nothing more is needed today
• Fulfilled quests also count as achieved in the goal's daily progress — goal gauges in widgets and on Apple Watch, and Siri responses, all match
• Updated the 'Reading progress' help topic to match

### 1.1 — 2026-07-30

• Diary on Mac — the Diary tab now appears in the sidebar; type as usual, or turn on 'Draw' to sketch with your mouse or trackpad
• CSV import (Premium) — restore actions and time/count records from exported CSVs. Existing data is never changed, and duplicates are skipped automatically
• Diary default display settings — decide once whether calendar events appear by default and which goals or actions stay hidden, and it applies to every date. Per-date choices still work as before
• 'Ignore short records' now syncs over iCloud and applies equally on every device — start on one device and stop on another with the same rule
• Polished help topics and descriptions
