## What is haru journal?

haru is the diary that writes back first.

Most diaries wait for you. haru starts — Siwoo, the companion inside the app, asks you a question, and answering it becomes today's entry. No blank page, no pressure.

WRITE ALONE, OR WRITE TOGETHER
• Solo writing: a thread-style feed for one line or a long entry — add to your day as it happens
• With Siwoo: morning intention, midday break, evening reflection. Answer the questions, and the conversation itself becomes a finished diary entry, with a gentle summary of how the day felt

A COMPANION, NOT A CHATBOT
• Siwoo never rewrites your words — it writes beside them
• A short postcard arrives with each entry, and a letter at the end of the month
• Keep the letters you like: they attach to that day's entry as a reply

YOUR DAYS, IN COLOR
• Photos, videos and Live Photos in every entry
• Mood colors and a calendar where your consistency builds up like ink shades
• Turn a line you love into a quote card and share just that one sentence

REVIEW DIARY
• Log books, films and shows like diary entries — scan a book's barcode and the details fill themselves in
• Ratings and one-line impressions become square cards ready for your feed

MADE TO LAST
• Your writing is saved on your device first, and syncs when you sign in
• Export anytime — your words remain yours
• Seven skins drawn from Korean folk painting

haru is one half of thegeul, alongside geul — a writing studio for long-form fiction. One account connects them both.
