## What is HaruOn?

No ads. Your steps and walks are recorded on their own.
You never have to press start.
As you walk, the day's landscape grows — and your dog is standing in it.

■ Everything in HaruOn (optional purchase)
The Maltipoo is free. Eleven more breeds - Maltese, Poodle, Pomeranian,
Bichon Frise, Golden Retriever, Shih Tzu, Jindo, Chihuahua, Dachshund,
Shiba Inu, Yorkshire Terrier - plus city and coast landscapes, turning a
month into a single picture, and Zen mode that hides the numbers on your
wrist, come in one purchase.
You can keep up to five photos a day (one for free).
Steps, walks and potty logs are always free.

■ No start button
Walking is recorded automatically. You don't open the app to begin a walk.
Missed a walk? Add it later, or correct the times.

■ Your records don't disappear
Every entry is written in two places. If one goes empty, the other restores it.
Kept quietly in your own iCloud, so a new iPhone opens to the same forest.
No account. No sign-in.

■ Answers "when did they last go?"
One tap logs it — from the widget or from Apple Watch.
With a leash in one hand and a bag in the other, you shouldn't have to open an app.
It tells you how many hours it has been. It does not judge.

■ Easy on the battery
It doesn't follow your location. No line drawn on a map — and no battery drain.

■ Time with your dog, kept separate
"8,000 steps today" means little to a dog owner.
Minutes together and steps alone are shown apart.

■ A streak that cannot break
A tree is planted on every day you reach your goal. The forest never shrinks.
On the days you don't, nothing happens. Nothing to start over.

No scores. No rankings. No streaks to lose.
On the days you fall short, it says nothing at all.

## Key features

- Automatic step and walk tracking
- Visual landscape growth with dog
- One-tap potty log from widget/watch
- iCloud backup, no account needed
- Separate tracking for minutes and steps
- Streak system with tree planting

### 1.8 — 2026-09-25

Lights you haven't met yet.

• What you kept now shows the colours of moments that haven't come — no names, no conditions, just colour.
• No counts, no collection rate. Nothing asks you to gather them.
• The app now asks for a rating even if you don't have a dog. Until now it only asked people who logged dog walks.
• Settings has a Rate HaruOn link.

### 1.7 — 2026-09-16

HaruOn now opens in English.

• The whole app is translated into English and Japanese. It follows your iPhone's language.
• Distance is shown in the units your country uses — miles in the US.
• Dates and times are ordered the way your country writes them.
• The Health, Location and Motion permission prompts are translated too.
• A tip that pointed at a button which no longer exists has been corrected.

### 1.6 — 2026-09-16

The cairn — a stone is added as you walk. Built fresh each day, and only sometimes.
A cat now wanders into the scene now and then.
Up to five photos a day (one on the free tier).
Fixed the lock screen showing time in English.

### 1.5 — 2026-09-05

Your dog walks with you again.

• Fixed: your companion stood still while you were walking.
• All twelve breeds have new walk animations. Each leg now moves on its own.
• Yorkshire Terrier joins the forest — the twelfth companion.
• Tap your dog to meet the others.
• Trees no longer look brown on autumn nights.
• The app is a little lighter.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-31

Made your past days easier to read.

- Tap a day and the space for a photo and a few words is already there.
- Each day's scene now says what it means, like "A starry night - you reached your goal."
- Days you reached your goal are gold on both the calendar and the chart.
- The calendar starts on Sunday.

Replanted the trees missing from your forest.
Some days you walked far enough but didn't open the app, so no tree was planted. Those days are found and planted now.

During a walk, a card appears on your Lock Screen so you can see your time together without opening the app.
