## What is HaruTape?

Just shoot a few seconds at a time. Your day becomes a vintage home video.

Morning coffee, a walk down the street, dinner together.
Whenever something catches your eye, film a few seconds.

At 9 p.m., everything you shot today is joined in the order you filmed it, finished as one home video.

No editing, no hunting for music.
Just shoot, and watch it back when the day is done.

Even an ordinary moment from yesterday, like an old memory.

Record today in the colors of Hi8, MiniDV and VHS camcorders, or an old iPhone. No filters, no editing — the vintage feel is there from the moment you shoot.

What you can do with HaruTape

· A daily video that finishes itself from short clips
· Choose 1, 2 or 3 minutes of footage per day
· Hi8, MiniDV and VHS camcorder looks, plus old iPhone looks
· Shoot freely in portrait or landscape
· Turn Live Photos into tapes from days gone by
· Two-finger zoom and stabilization
· Time stamp you can turn on or off
· Save a favorite scene to Photos, camcorder look and all
· Shoot right from the Lock Screen
· Your own tape library, organized by date
· Videos stay on your device

No subscription. Buy once and keep using it.
No account needed either.

It doesn't have to be a special day.
The day you'll most want to watch again might turn out to be an ordinary one.

*2026-10-16*

**Developer response:**

**Developer response:**

**Developer response:** (26.10.19

### 1.1.10 — 2026-10-22

Cleaner developed videos.

■ Frame Edges
Fixed the bottom line shifting sideways in VHS videos, and a thin green line on the left edge in some moods. Applies to tapes developed after this update.

### 1.1.9 — 2026-10-20

Longer days, easier mood changes.

■ Tape Length
Choose how much you can shoot each day in Settings, from 1 to 3 minutes. It applies to today’s tape right away.
