It connects nicely to the web, but about half the time the app on my phone won’t connect to to the device remotely. Have called tech-support several times and it’s always been problems with their server. Reliability of App is Not… *2026-02-20, version 1.0.53* This review is only for the app itself, not the Harvest Right Freeze Dryers (which are AMAZING!). Lately, the app is only as responsive as it “feels like” for that day. I cannot tell if I am going to have a day where it is able to load suggested recipe, connect to my freeze dryer (which is properly connected to the WiFi), or even load a page without it going to the white background (loading screen), or just plain gets stuck mid click. The concept of the app is amazing, but I have better reliability with checking on my freeze dryer remotely by sticking a Google Home cam in front my dryer than I do by using the app… *I am running on an updated phone, strong internet speeds with Google Fiber & WiFi, in a millennial household filled with knowledgeable techies. I also noticed when I add extra dry time it will not let me go over 24 hours on the app, but I can on the machine. Those are only suggestions for possible future updates. I finally got it to register, but typed the CPU code in wrong, once. It won’t let me change it. It still freezes. I tried to set it up with another phone and another app, and it never even let me register the dryer. Machine hooks to WiFi but never sends info. It’s such a horrible design and never stay connected. I asked for my money back. They never got back to me once again using my two machines and cannot get these things to connect they connect for a little bit last time it goes away. We have to log out and then log back in, and this sometimes resolves the problem. First couple batches I used the pre set recommended settings and pushed start.
