I love to see that. I also love what a streamlined means of integrating my old progress there is. I’m a little disappointed in the graphics. They’re not technically more impressive (they don’t utilize any of the complex shading and lighting of Jurassic World or Harry Potter, and they still run at an archaic ~30FPS) but they are prettier, but I miss the uniqueness of the old avatars. These look great, don’t get me wrong, but I feel like I could see them in any other game these days. Changing the cool old avatars into something so same-looking as those of every contemporary app seems like a weird choice if the avatars themselves don’t cross-pollinate (like Nintendo’s Miis), but if they play better snd get more people to download, I’ll stop complaining. I do hope there will be customization options down the road (be nice to see some headscarves, wheelchairs, et cetera), but there is a pretty good selection already. And they don’t make me feel like a fat slob like Pokemon Go’s trainers do. I also miss being able to rotate my island. However, I love that a little story was added. It’s pretty standard (your relatives write to you and you inherit or take over a farm), but it’s better than nothing. Some effort was made to include visibility with diverse characters and I want to acknowledge that. Anyway, it’s all a nice surprise to be looking through my phone and notice that the change in app icon is just the tip of a huge big-update iceberg. However, the reason I stopped playing in the first place was because the location-based portion is a little shallow. Other location-based games I hardly play are Men in Black and Draconius Go because there is nothing specific in the world that the game utilizes. By the same token, the possibility that a weird sculpture might be a multiplayer hub is what keeps me logging into Pokémon Go despite myself. I even hoard an old iPhone 4 that still runs CodeRunner because there are still some Dead Drops I haven’t visited and solved. I’m not sure how you would implement map databases into a game about farming. Interestingly, I did notice in the past few days that OnX Hunt of all apps (I will download anything if it is a potential gateway to interesting location-based data) just added an algorithm layer that tells you what crops are likely being planted where. (I still have no idea how that works). Anyway, it might be interesting if different seeds were available in different parts of the world and you could trade with people from around the world to get access to region-exclusive crops. I remember finding the harvesting aspect of games like Covens and Maguss to be a heap of fun (and the rewards in Maguss were pretty broken in a way I really enjoyed). Anyway, just thinking “out loud”. Hope some of my insight is useful. The work being put into this game really stirred my imagination. **Developer response:** Hello and thanks for your review. You do not have to be in a city for seeds to spawn. Everything on the map re-spawns within 15 minutes, so if you were unlucky and did not get seeds, it doesn't take more than 15 minutes until you have new spawns around you. If you feel the problem persists, please make a support ticket and we will dig into the potential problem at once.
