… the tiny controls hidden behind the swipe indicator on modern iPhones. No one bothered to update it, so it’s absolutely maddening to try to open the Restrictions menu or select a Restriction.

Spielte früher begeistert „Edna bricht aus“. Jetzt nun „Harvey‘s New Eyes“ als Handyspiel. Inhaltlich, grafisch bin ich nicht enttäuscht worden. Toll! Knifflige Rätsel, zum Teil seeeeehr knifflig und um die Ecke gedacht, manches vielleicht etwas zu abwegig. Leider oft technische Probleme mit echoartigem Sound. Capu war nur anfangs zu sehen und dann quasi „unsichtbar“. Konnte ihn aber weiter ansprechen. Schwieriges Antippen der Gegenstände in der Story und im Inventar, da nach meiner Intuition nicht zielgenau sondern leicht darüber…musste ich mich sehr dran gewöhnen…aber tolle Story, liebe es!

Задумка может и хорошая, но исполнение ужасное. Больше всего выбесил текст, вылезающий за рамки. Управление на телефоне дико неудобное. На мой взгляд, игра своих денег не стоит.

Yes yes yes! This is everything a point and click game should be, staying true to the roots of the genre. 

Make sure to play Edna and Harvey before this one though. Harvey’s New Eyes is a sequel and will make way more sense to play the games in order. 

5 stars all around!

The reason I put 5 stars is so it could be seen and not hidden from the other reviews. Not even 15 minutes into the game (not including the intro) wouldn’t even let me go to the next dialogue at all. Watched videos online and how they were able too do it and copied what they did and still didn’t work. Waste of money for me.

So much fun don’t get me wrong but there is a part where I make pizza (sorta) but I messed up on making the pizza and it won’t let me fix it :( so then I was stuck there to pls fix it :(

Great time with this strange game. But sadly my game abruptly ended in the bar scene.  (SPOILER!!!) A glitch occurs while trying to serve drunk bartender a narcotic drink to calm him down. The game has no other issues until this part. About three hours in and then the disappointment. Thanks

Point and click style games shouldn’t be overly complex or completely random. This game is just that. Impossible without a walkthrough of what to do and where to go next, with copious amounts of dialogue that must be exhausted in order to unlock or move forward with certain tasks (even with a skip function). The cartoon style looks great but is failed by functionality and logic. I couldn’t finish it.

Zu dem Game muss ich wohl nichts sagen zumindest glaube ich das sowieso Fans der Spiele hier sind.
Aber ich wünschte das Edna bricht aus ebenfalls eine Bühne als mobile Version hätte pllsss :)

This is the type of game that has tongue-in-cheek humor and easy, medium, and hard moments to get through, but logic can win out…usually 😉. 

I think the length is worth the price as well as the enjoyment of the game. 

The voices are awesomely acted out. I’m in love the the “needle & stitch” song in the beginning/in a location if you’re there long enough/at the end of the game. The melody and voice and lyrics all fit together so well and it’s perfectly compatible with the game. 

I bought this game years ago. I did need help getting through it, but felt silly once I saw how to proceed. Since it had been years, I decided to download and play the game again and this time I ran into blocks, but figured them out myself (which makes sense because although my memory isn’t great it did grasp the concept of the logic in the gameplay). 

The controls at the bottom are small and my phone wants to change apps or doesn’t recognize my choice right away if it’s under the line on the bottom of my phone. I’m stubborn and made it through, so it’s possible–just frustrating. I think if the icons on the bottom were bigger, it’d be easier to play. 

I do love this game and wish for a series like this on the AppStore.

Very good value for money as it’s long and there’s plenty to do. A lot of the game is funny, some is a bit weird and other parts are a bit laborious but all in all it’s a lot of fun. It’s not that obvious what actions to take and a hint system would have been useful, although I did manage to source help online (or I would have been stuck). The ending was very odd! I’d still recommend downloading it though but play The Breakout first as it might make more sense then.
