## What is Hasat?

Plant your fields, grow your herd, deliver your contracts on time.
Against drought, disease and rivals — the one who reads the market wins.

HASAT is a retro economy simulation where you build and grow a farm in a hillside village. Every week is a decision week: what to plant, what to sell, which contract to sign is up to you.

▸ FIELDS
Your land is split into four plots. Grow tomatoes, wheat, corn, potatoes, and lettuce in the greenhouse. Mind the seasonal window. Leave soil fallow, rotate crops, fertilize — or watch your yield fall. Clear the weeds, and decide what to irrigate in a drought year.

▸ BARN
Raise cows, goats, sheep and chickens for milk, eggs and wool. Choose feed quality, keep the barn clean, call the vet when disease hits. Miss the shearing week and you lose the wool.

▸ MARKET
Prices move every week. Sell now, or hold a few more weeks? Ship to the wholesale market before your crop spoils, or sell local? Buy cold storage and you can wait longer.

▸ CONTRACTS
Sign timed contracts with buyers. Deliver on time and your reputation climbs; miss it and you pay the penalty and lose standing. Reputation decides your credit, too.

▸ BANK
Miss a mortgage installment and you lose the farm. Take a loan, open a term deposit, pay your debt off early. But leverage cuts both ways.

▸ RIVALS
Two rival farms chase the same contracts. They plant, they grow, and they flood the market at harvest time. Listen to what the village coffeehouse is saying.

▸ OFFLINE
Plays fully offline. No account, no energy bar, no waiting timers.

▸ SAME SEED, SAME SEASON
Every run has a seed number. Give a friend your seed and they play the exact same season — who manages it better?

CHALLENGES
One rule closes and the year runs without it: No Bank, No Water, No Herd, Single Crop, No Contracts, No Greenhouse, No Fertilizer, No Cold Chain - plus four combined years that impose two constraints at once. Medals measure endurance, not victory: week 13 bronze, 26 silver, 52 gold.

FULL VERSION (optional)
The whole 52-week game can be played and finished for free, and No Bank Year is open to everyone. The Full Version is a one-time payment, not a subscription: it removes ads and immediately opens the locked challenges. The seven single-constraint years unlock for free as you collect gold medals - a gold medal means carrying a year all the way to week 52, not winning it; two modes are open from the start. The four combined years, which impose two constraints at once, are exclusive to the Full Version. The payment buys your place in the queue and the expansion, not an advantage: nothing sold gives you power inside the game.
Boundary: the Full Version does not mean "all future content". It covers additions to the base game; later regions and large expansion packs are sold separately.

Three difficulty levels · a 52-week season · 15-20 minute sessions · one-handed, portrait.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.8 — 2026-09-05

New players can now see the first move. If you end the week with a completely
empty farm, a warning tells you what happens: no income that week, while costs
keep running. "Go to Field" takes you straight there. "Skip" goes through the
same warning and spells out how many weeks would pass empty.

The warning only appears when the farm is truly idle — leaving a parcel fallow
or waiting on a growing crop are legitimate weeks and stay untouched. A single
hint line accompanies new players in the Field and disappears the moment you
sow your first seed.

The guide now says planting is your first move.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-08-31

The Weekly Seed can now be opened from outside the app: a shared link or the
event card on the store takes you straight to that week's shared farm. Back
returns you to the main menu, and a link never interrupts a run in progress.

Fix: when a sound effect fails to play, the internal error is no longer
recorded as a crash.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-08-29

The game now asks for a rating — but only at the end of a year you won. It
stays quiet when you lose.

Store screenshots were recaptured from the current build; the first two now
show the same village in summer and in winter.

Fix: repaired the save generator used for store visuals.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-08-25

This release adds new things to play.

CHALLENGES
One rule closes and the year runs without it. Eight named constraint years: No Bank, No Water, No Herd, Single Crop, No Contracts, No Greenhouse, No Fertilizer, No Cold Chain. On top of those, four combined years that impose two constraints at once: On Your Own, Stubborn Year, Harsh Year, Barren Year — these are exclusive to the Full Version.

Medals measure endurance, not victory: week 13 bronze, 26 silver, 52 gold. A medal you earn stays next to the mode for good; if a later run goes worse, it remains on record as your best. Constraint runs do not pollute your overall record.

No Bank Year is open to everyone. The seven single-constraint years unlock for free as you collect gold medals; a gold medal means carrying a year to week 52, not winning it. Two modes are open from the start. The four combined years are exclusive to the Full Version - which also opens everything at once.

IMPORTANT: RUNS IN PROGRESS
Saves from the previous version will not open in this release. The two changes below alter the rules of the game, so the same decisions would now produce a different outcome and your target would shift underneath you. The menu says so; you can start a new game. Your career, achievements and Village Ledger are kept.

VILLAGE LEDGER
Under Career > Statistics there is now a lifetime ledger: total harvest, milk drawn, eggs collected, contracts delivered, drought years seen and your longest run. The data was already being produced but was thrown away when the year ended. The ledger's "Total games" is lifetime and never trimmed; the career record above it still computes its rates from the last 100 games - a win rate should describe your recent form.

CURRENCY
The game has its own currency: the asper (¤). It used to read "TL" in every language, but this is not a game about Turkey - the Turkish village is only the first region. The asper was the name of the Ottoman akçe in European trade. Store pricing is separate and continues to show in your own country's currency.

FIXES
• Hail no longer hits the greenhouse. The greenhouse was exposed like open field and lost half its harvest - shelter is the whole point of it. Because this makes the game easier, net worth targets were re-tuned.
• Weather damage in the greenhouse is now visible. Planting two slots of lettuce and getting 320 kg instead of 640 left you with no explanation.
• The value of goods in transit is now shown. The market list told you what you had sent but not what it would fetch, so the "goods arriving" figure in the Wallet could not be checked.
• An unlocked challenge no longer re-locks. Progress was derived from the scoreboard, and because that list trims, a heavy player's old win could fall off it.
• The "Spotless Year" badge is no longer free. It now requires at least one delivery.
• New app icon: the old one turned into an orange smudge at small sizes; the new one comes straight from the game.
• For players in English, the weekly report warnings still appeared in Turkish. They are translated now, and crop names print properly.
• The link under a shared card pointed only to the App Store; it now opens both stores.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-08-15

The theme of this release: the game now tells you what's coming.

The planting screen shows which week each crop is harvested; short-cycle crops carry an "early cash" tag. The planting summary tells you how many weeks you'll go without income and when your cash turns negative.

Selling locally now shows its price in money — what shipping to the wholesale market would have paid, side by side. Barn care shows the cost of skipping it as a percentage; care is free.

The bank tells you, 4-7 weeks ahead, whether you'll make the installment. Missing one doesn't end the run — missing two in a row does, and the screen now tells them apart.

All three difficulties are free. The seed box is hidden on your first game and introduced when your first season ends.

Also: refreshed store screenshots; fixed an unfair "you're giving up" warning on the sell screen, a crash on the bank screen, and a false promise in the Full Version blurb.
