### 4/5 — Much Too Easy!

*2017-06-15, version 1.5*

These puzzles are fun if you just want to take your mind somewhere else & play... they aren't enough of a challenge to really exercise your brain.

### 3/5 — Good for iPad; Okay for iPhone

*2014-08-20, version 1.5*

Nice design. Fun game. Cannot access harder levels on the iPhone but you can on the iPad. I'd give it five stars if the iPhone interface were fixed and if there were an option to purchase the removal of the coins and slot machine for unlimited play.

### 3/5 — Too simplistic

*2014-05-29, version 1.5*

After doing one puzzle, I could solve any new one in less than a minute. The interface is also a pain. I would have liked to be able to just swipe a line to create it instead of tapping until I get the right one.

### 4/5 — Fast games; not difficult

*2014-03-11, version 1.5*

The puzzles aren't too difficult, but not dead simple, and they don't take very long - almost always between 20 and 50 seconds - but that's a good thing if you're looking for a quick diversion.

### 5/5 — Love hashi and this game is great

*2013-11-14, version 1.5*

Easy to navigate. And the puzzles are outstanding. You have a bank of coins to play and need to use a slot machine to get more.

Can't cheat on this one... There is no way to check you are wrong.

### 4/5 — Glitch since iOS7

*2013-09-22, version 1.4*

As soon as I updated, it just gives me option to resume and will not go to a new board. Love the game. It just needs tweaking.

### 4/5 — Coins

*2013-09-21, version 1.4*

For the past few days I've been playing the daily challenges, but the coin wheel is messing up. Once I pull the lever to receive my coins the app closed out. Bug maybe? Other then that it's a great game and I love it.

### 3/5 — OK

*2013-09-02*

Decent enough game, just a shame the number of coins you win isn't related to the speed you complete the puzzle.

### 4/5 — Love the game itself, but...

*2013-07-21, version 1.3*

I love the game but there's no way to ever fully "buy" the game. You can get tokens to play more only. I'm not going to spend $10 & still not own the game. The game is super fun & addicting but when I buy a game I want to own it not rent.

### 5/5 — Good little mind game

*2013-07-07, version 1.3*

This is a fun, quick game that gives you a challenge.

### 5/5 — Kittyfoot

*2013-06-27, version 1.3*

Great game!! I love the challenge!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Needs update to work with current iOS

*2019-08-04, version 1.5*

This game used to be great, but now only 1 star review because it hasn’t been updated in quite awhile, so it doesn’t open in even iOS 11, and I haven’t updated to iOS 12, quite yet.

### 1/5 — iOS 11

*2018-01-20, version 1.5*

I loved the game but can no longer play it because it is not iOS 11 compatible

### 1/5 — No.

*2016-02-01, version 1.5*

Graphics are way too small.

### 1/5 — Bad coin system

*2015-07-04, version 1.5*

Stupid system of coins. One game cost 3 coins, but to earn coins in this game impossible. There are 2 ways: play daily games to earn 3 coins only, the other one - to buy coins. That's all. And the game you can finish in 1 minute. This is stupid.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2015-06-27, version 1.5*

What an absolutely awful game. First of all, it's poorly designed. It's very difficult to connect two numbers together, which makes for a very unpleasant and frustrating experience for the user. Secondly, the puzzles themselves are garbage. They are so easy a five year old could solve them in seconds. The puzzles are probably generated using a really dumb algorithm, so it doesn't incorporate any of the nuances of difficulty of real Hashi. Finally, what's up with the coin system? It seems like it was tacked on as an afterthought - another element of poor game design.

This app isn't even worth the zero dollars I paid for it. The designers should pay YOU to play their awful horrible interpretation of Hashi. If I could, I would give this app a negative star rating.

### 1/5 — Poor

*2013-11-14, version 1.5*

Terrible interface with touch screen. You have to touch the screen several times for it to recognize the command. My phone works fine.

### 1/5 — Good game, bad app

*2013-05-14, version 1.2*

Used to be great app, now it's too expensive to play, have to go with other similar hashi games

### 1/5 — Only a star because I had to.

*2013-05-10, version 1.2*

This app used to be great, but this coin system thing is just stupid. Don't bother with the app unless they change it back. I plan on getting another.

### 1/5 — Poor implementation of a great game

*2012-09-07, version 1.0*

There is a version for Linux called Bridges that is much better.

Issues:
- Clunky, glitchy, and unresponsive user interface
- Often more than one possible solution per level
- Some levels are nearly impossible without guessing
- Needs to be updated for Retina display
- There should either be no shadows or they should be at an angle, not straight down

If this was an original game, I would rate it higher. It is, however, a poor copy of a great game.

The Linux version is open source - why not lift the level creation algorithm from that one?

### 2/5 — So close

*2013-12-26, version 1.5*

This game has potential to be outstanding. But...

It is impossible to play for any length of time without buying more coins. :(

It doesn't always recognize taps.

### 5/5 — Only hashi game I play

*2017-08-11, version 1.5*

Every other hashi on iOS eventually gives you puzzles that require trial and error to solve (as opposed to applying logic to current state to determine next step). I like the daily challenge to solve 3 small puzzles as quickly as I can and the fact that there are multiple puzzle sizes to choose from

### 5/5 — What are the coins for?

*2017-02-10, version 1.5*

Nice version. I've tried em all. I DONT like swiping so thanx!

But...

WHAT ARE THE COINS FOR?

### 5/5 — Great game

*2016-09-25*

Great game for killing time. Wonderful game interface.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2016-08-20, version 1.5*

Excellent app and great for mindless play. Puzzles are somewhat easy but sometimes that's what I like. Interface is brilliant and quick once you get the hang of it. Don't understand the coins yet but I haven't needed them. I'm keeping this one!

### 5/5 — Hashi

*2016-05-30, version 1.5*

Great brain teaser!

### 5/5 — Good fun

*2015-06-09, version 1.5*

As a rule, I don't really like games on a computer or phone but this is fun, light and non-frustrating. I quite enjoy playing this.

### 5/5 — Simple Pleasure

*2014-10-24, version 1.5*

Amazingly simple app but delivers on all accounts. Easy to use and easy to enjoy!

### 5/5 — Hashi

*2014-05-24, version 1.5*

This is the best version of Hashi I have tried. The black and white visuals are elegant and play is easy. I look forward to the daily challenge.

### 5/5 — Addicting

*2013-12-23, version 1.5*

Love this game, I can't put it down. However, the whole coin thing is annoying. I don't understand the point of it and I hate having to pull the slots after every puzzle. It doesn't make sense with the game.

### 5/5 — Great little game

*2013-12-05*

Brilliant, not too tricky
