I downloaded this app as I was told I needed to. To store hbar onto my ledger live. Transferring from Uphold was easy. Then no way could I store on Ledger. So happy to keep just a few hbar on HashPack. However when I swapped my phone, for a new one, I didn’t know I had to transfer the access codes required to authenticate the account. The hbar is now locked. No help from their support team. No help from Google. SHAMBLES!!!! ### 3/5 — Wish it had ledger hardware wallet support *2025-04-02* This mobile apps functions just like the chrome extension with the lack of the ledger hardware wallet connect feature. Tried closing app, refreshing over and over, nothing. So how am I supposed to collect my rewards and see the other details of my staked coins? I bounced the app and it didn’t recover and I guess since I didn’t finish on boarding I would have to start over? No thanks. I’ll just use another app, or not. Good luck. ### 1/5 — Don’t use *2025-01-15* I’ve opened an account with Hedera to store HBAR crypto while being able to stake for a passive profit. After one week of storing in this wallet and collecting stake rewards, I had noticed my HBAR holding was not going up. In fact almost every day my holding went down. It’s only fractions of pennies, however if your crypto is slowly being siphoned off, you can not put trust in the wallet to function as intended and keep your crypto safe. This is very worrisome. Highly recommend staying away from this wallet even if it means you won’t be able to stake HBAR. It’s not worth waking up to a savings being drained, due to poor coding, or some backdoor built in for developers to hijack your wallet. ### 1/5 — most complicated apps *2024-12-31* This is one of the most complicated apps I’ve ever used. It’s overloaded with unnecessary details and confusing questions. I couldn’t even figure out how to transfer money or understand what was expected. They also use terms that are completely unfamiliar. It’s fast, well designed, and feels like it was built specifically for Hedera rather than a generic multi-chain app. Few things I like: - Really smooth and intuitive interface - connecting to dApps, swapping on SaucerSwap, staking HBAR, and sending tokens all feel effortless. - Excellent security features: strong passcode/biometric support, automatic transaction signing, and clear confirmation screens that help prevent mistakes. - Full support for Hedera Token Service (HTS) tokens, NFTs, and even the newer features like scheduled transactions and token associations. - Reliable performance - I’ve never had a transaction fail or the app crash even when there’s high network activity. - Regular updates from the team, who clearly listen to the community. - It makes managing HBAR and participating in the Hedera ecosystem a genuine pleasure, and it’s the only wallet I recommend to friends getting started on Hedera. One small piece of constructive feedback: the “Cold Wallet Support” feature has been marked as “Coming Soon” for quite some time. I’d love to see this implemented soon – being able to connect a hardware wallet (like Ledger or Trezor) directly would take the security to the next level for larger holdings. Once that’s added, HashPack will be perfect mobile app for managing your HBAR.
