Boring! I was looking for something to make “picking out of a hat” more fun and fancy - this is not it 😕

I can make the list of names...I can put the names into the hat.... I have no idea how to draw the names out of the hat. Some instructions would be useful..

**Developer response:** So sorry to hear you’re having trouble! You pick by tapping on the hat. I’ll try to include some instructions in the next update.

It used to let you put in list of names and go down the list of names for each to draw another name. It no longer allows that option. I did the last year. Bummer!!

**Developer response:** Hi there! You’ll be able to go through a list of items by selecting “Remove” in stead of “Return” once you pick an item from the hat. That way what you just picked won’t be picked again. I hope that allows you to use it as you did before, but definitely let me know if I misunderstood your use case! Thanks!

I think this is a great app! My one complaint is that it’s easy to hit the clear button and delete everything by accident. The clear button should have a warning or two pop up before deleting everything. Make it a little hard to accidentally delete all your list please!

I use this app for our monthly book club choice.  The members of our little group each choose a book, which I list in the Piles, and then I choose three finalists.  It’s nearly perfect except for one thing:  it would be nice if we could see the entire list at one time.  As of now, I can only see five items.  If I could see the entire list, I could screen shot it for the other members.  Other than this little thing, this app is perfect for our nerdy needs.  🤓

Such a cute add to be able to draw from the hat in AR. A great and fun way to ease decision making.

This app really helps me out with decision fatigue.  Sometimes there are simple too many choices, like a long menu at a restaurant or too many clothes in your closet.  Steve Jobs solved the problem by only wearing expensive black turtlenecks, but this app will save you so much money by helping you pick what you already own!  I definitely recommend this for anyone suffering from decision fatigue.

This simple app does a great job picking from a virtual hat. Easy to add the options and then fun to pick them. Much easier to use than carrying around a real hat. And it is free!
