Statistics should be exportable to a chart or csv to see large amount of data at once without scrolling to see more data ### 3/5 — Please make fixes!!! *2026-08-02, version 1.7.1* It has been a great challenge finding an app that has all the features I need as a new parent: simplicity, ease of use, and data sharing between caregivers. Three stars since this app is the best I’ve used so far for simplicity and data sharing, BUT scrolling through numbers to record sleep time, ounces pumped, and minutes slept takes up much more time than needed with a wiggly baby! I have also experienced some issues/bugs other reviewers have reported with edited or deleted sleep logs not saving. I would love to use this app long term so please please please add the number keyboard for logging sleep, pumps, and feeds! ### 2/5 — Problems *2026-07-28, version 1.7.1* This app would be great if it didn’t crash on me all the time. It allows you to track so many things, but about once per day, you have to completely restart your phone or delete the app and re-downloaded in order for it to work. This is happened to both me and my wife, every single day since we’ve used it. However I’m experiencing so much eye strain during middle of the night feeds. It’s very hard to see “Last Side” in tiny print with low contrast, bright colors. I need to quickly feed the baby to soothe + get back to sleep sooner. Every second matters but even more, so does vision! Seems like an easy feature. It helps us easily track the most important stuff and take notes. The one thing I’d love to see is a way to track combo feeds (ie 10min of nursing + 2oz bottle, or 2oz breastmilk +1oz formula). We mainly use for sleep, diapers, and feeding. When I was unable to sign back in, I contacted support and was informed my data was unrecoverable as my email and the email of all the caretakers included was not in the system. While they were apologetic, all they could recommend was to start from scratch. I will be using a different app moving forward as I want to make sure I don’t lose all that data again. ### 4/5 — Easy to use *2025-07-03, version 1.7.0* I switched from the Huckleberry app to this because I was overwhelmed. I love the simplicity of this app! All it needs is dark mode for middle of the night pumps and feeds and adding the feeding/pumpin timer to the dynamic island so you can track your time if you leave to use another app. ### 3/5 — Consistently crashes *2025-06-26, version 1.7.0* Whenever I try to open, it automatically closes. ### 3/5 — Not terrible *2025-06-03, version 1.7.0* This app is okay, but it has random issues which is extremely frustrating when you are dealing with a baby. For example, if you try to delete any previous feeding record the app will crash and have to be reinstalled before you can use it again. ### 1/5 — Firmware update causing issues *2025-05-25, version 1.7.0* Downloaded the Hatch Grow App to use the Hatch Grow changing table for the smart scale component. I can’t even use it because this new firmware update is closing out the app each time before it can even begin. If I select to not update it, it is telling me to contact support because a critical problem was found. Would love to see this firmware update glitch fixed asap because otherwise it is not worth the money spent, which is extremely disappointing. General Hatch Apps feedback: please consolidate your apps into one. It’s a bit silly there are separate Hatch apps. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Scale stopped working *2026-02-11, version 1.7.1* My scale randomly stopped working with an error that basically said that it cannot be fixed $170 and I used it for just over a year. :( ### 1/5 — All data disappeared *2026-01-21, version 1.7.1* No clue what happened but logged in after a few years and all data on both kids gone. Wanted to keep the weight tracking in here to see percentiles. All historic data lost. It also crashes often when adding a feeding. Deleting a feeding entry also doesn’t work. It was working great until about 2 weeks ago. Random timers would start unprompted, entries would be added on its own, entries would disappear. Now my child has disappeared and all my logs are gone. That was fixed, but now the scale is totally inaccurate and reports my 12 lb baby as 6-7 lbs. When I select yes the app immediately closes out as if there’s some sort of bug. The user interface on this is incredibly intuitive and the app seamlessly integrates with all your essential iOS shortcut features. Thank you ### 5/5 — Lifesaver! *2023-05-04* I could rave on and on about this app. As a first time mom, I felt like this covered all of my bases. It was basically my second brain. Especially in the beginning, there is so so much going on and so much to remember. Your body is running on fumes from the late nights with a newborn, and you can’t remember if you changed a diaper 2 hours ago or 5. lol It was so wonderful to look at my app and see how long it has been since a diaper change or feeding or sleep. It really helped me quickly hone in on exactly what my baby needed. It’s almost like a baby translator! lol Okay, I hope the developer’s see this, because if I could recommend any changes/requests it would number 1 be to have a “dark mode” on the app where all the background is black. My baby has been woke up several times by me inputting something in my app while I’m thinking of it. The dark mode would be AMAZING! Also, I would love to track baths. All I would want is to input a bath at 5:30pm and some notes (for example). If there were a food section to input when my baby tries a food for the first time, and also a medication/ temperature reading section for when my baby catches a bug. Having the dark mode and these other sections would make this app unbeatable! It’s still my top app rec to any mom, 1st time or not. ### 5/5 — The perfect tracker, seriously stop looking elsewhere *2022-07-07, version 1.5.0* This app is nearly perfect! I’d actually pay for it if it wasn’t free, that’s how good it is. The ability to customize your layouts, the ability to edit, the absence of all advertising…it’s even got the ability to export all data into .csv files for spreadsheet applications like Numbers or Excel. The only missing things are Siri support, an iPad app and a watch app! After using this software I’m hooked, and really hope they gain Siri support at minimum, that would eliminate the need the other two apps in my opinion. I’d love to say Hey Siri, log a poopy diaper, which is doable with Alexa at the moment. ### 5/5 — Great App *2022-04-02, version 1.5.0* I like using this app to track my baby’s sleep, feeding, diapers, weight and length. I started using it around 3 months old to see if he starts to develop a routine and how much he feeds and diapers he has as I loose track. Would be even better if the timer of the sleep/feed would change colour from blue to red (for instance) so that it’s easy to see that it is going when you are semi-asleep or baby is fussy. ### 5/5 — Great tracking app! *2021-12-27, version 1.5.0* I’ve used this app with 2 babies and it is very helpful and works great. Never had any bugs, the features all work as they are supposed to. Really helpful to track last side used with breastfeeding, sleep and the daily view gives you the whole picture. You can also see your statistics over time which helps for things like how many hours a day the baby is sleeping or eating. One suggestion I would give to the developers is that the timers be show. On your phone’s Lock Screen. When you use the app all the time it gets annoying to have to open your phone and go into the app to check time. Excuse my previous hormonal rage, this app is great👌🏼*** I thought all of the information would be saved on the account, not on the device I was using! I really liked this for tracking, but I updated my phone and I lost all of the data I had been tracking for my son’s 2 mo appt at the end of November😭😭 plus, I lost all of the daily photos I had been using😭😭😭 if I could get them back, I’d do whatever needed to be done, but I honestly don’t know what to do. I’ve tried refreshing everything. It was a great app and super easy to track with, but I can’t believe it wouldn’t actually save my data well. Oh, and all his birth weight and height tracking stats!!
