This game,,, i cant express my love for it. It may be that i have ADHD and ADD but this makes my mind quiet and makes me focus on it completely. Ive been playing for 10-20 minutes now and the only issue i deal with is it takes like 20 seconds to load whenever you open a new tab/app and go back. Thats just me being impatient probably though but i love this app and anyone who loves spamming things should 100% buy this. It’s very addicting and not in a bad way. The controls are perfect and I haven’t had any sort of bug yet. My one complaint is that they didn’t add any other Vocaloids. The figures are just Rin, Len, Luka, Kaito, and Meiko. The rest are just re-skins that are better as they level up. Up I could care less about that, it doesn’t take anything way I just would like to see more Vocaloids than just the original six. All in all it’s a great game and worth downloading. ### 4/5 — Miku! *2020-10-19, version 1.0.3* I love this game and everything about it! Its just so nice. There is only one thing that bothers me... Costume slots. Theres a limited amount of space you can have for costume and i got good costumes that i cant collect. I wish there was a way to get rid of other items in the costume slot. If there is a way, i have no idea how to do it xd. Besides the costumes, i love this game! I also think it would be cool if we could set some other characters to preform. It’s a bit old hearing the same five(?) songs over and over again. ### 4/5 — Soundtrack variety: Add in the classic Miku songs! *2020-07-12, version 1.0.1* It's great that MikuTap has a soundtrack, but it only has 10 songs. They kind of feel bland after a long while of playing. If ATeam can get permission to use the classic Miku songs from the artists themselves, then surely this would appeal to every Hatsune Miku fan everywhere. ### 4/5 — Pretty Good! *2020-07-11, version 1.0.1* I’ve been a huge fan of Vocaloid since I was in elementary school. As a student with a small budget, I was stoked to see MikuTap. It’s a cute, simple clicker game. The art is adorable, and the game dynamics are really simple, especially once you get used to re-staging and such. However, there are a few cons. For one, it’s the same 3-5 songs really. It was a bit disappointing to have the same songs on loop, and while they’re really good songs, they aren’t even the nostalgic songs that introduced me and so many others to Vocaloid. (Snow White Princess Is, Romeo And Cinderella, World is Mine, etc) I don’t mind not being able to choose songs. I’d much rather have a wider range of songs for free on shuffle than the same few songs or be able to choose songs but have to pay a ridiculous amount of money to get the ones I want. It’s also odd to me that it’s only a clicker game. There’s no rhythm mode at all, which I suppose is more of a shock as the Vocaloid games are all based around the rhythm. All in all, it’s really cute and great for Vocaloid fans on a budget. I hope to see more songs and perhaps a rhythm feature in the future. ### 5/5 — Love it! *2020-07-07, version 1.0.1* I have waited for this game since I heard the announcement on social media. I have played it non-stop since and I’m on level 130 already. Though, since this is a new game, I am experiencing a bug. You need to get a specific amount of in-game currency to get the figurines. I have over the required amount for “[Innocence] Kagamine Len” which costs 1.21e17 and I have 3.64e16, and the only thing I can do is upgrade all the other figurines I have when I want to buy new ones. This is also a problem b/c I want to upgrade my Tap Voltage (not the main Miku figurine in the middle) and I already have WAY more than needed currency. So maybe, you could fix that bug b/c I want to continue gaining figurines and upping my Tap Voltage and not keep buying the “12 Hour Tap” power-up every time I get 100 gems ### 5/5 — Cute and addicting *2020-07-04, version 1.0.1* At first I thought it would be a boring random tap game, but I like the feature of dressing up Miku and the stages go by fast so it doesn’t get boring. Also please add more Vocaloid songs and not just miku’s. Other than those things, I like the gameplay and miku’s outfits. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Collab Rewards Are A Fraud *2020-07-18, version 1.0.1* I contacted Unison League staff in the hopes of getting my rewards in both apps, since I pressed the “accept EULA” in both of the event panels at the start of the event. However, Ateam staff is so incompetent and dumb that they failed to notice the issue was a bug, and lied by claiming I was illegible for any rewards. Don’t ever do any collabs with this app, they’re liars too, and won’t grant you anything to compensate for your troubles! ### 1/5 — Extremely boring and too many micro transactions *2020-06-25, version 1.0.1* As a long time fan of the Miku games and someone who has played every single Miku game I can safely say this game is not worth your time. It’s even more of a disappointment than Project Diva X and Hatsune Miku VR was. All you do is tap on the screen and the monetization is absolutely absurd. The amount of micro transactions in this game are ridiculous, but what else can you expect from a mobile game? It gets very boring very fast(like in the first couple minutes fast), not much is going on in the screen, and gameplay is extremely lacking. Maybe if the developers can make this more like a regular Miku rhythm game I will reconsider but as the game is right now I would not bother with it. I was super excited for this game only to be very let down. As a hardcore Miku fan I would not recommend this game. Pick up Future tone on the PS4 if you want a really good Miku game. ### 1/5 — It’s just a clicker game... *2020-06-25, version 1.0.1* Ok so, the game before release literally has two announcements and those two doesn’t even tell you the gameplay at all, and when I download that game, I’ve been greeted with disappointment as soon as I’ve gotten to the gameplay of this game. To be honest, first announcement was them telling us the game is being in development on late 2019 through early 2020 and the second one was said at May 2020 (a huge gap between those two announcements by the way)just telling us the game is available to pre-order and now that I think about it, it’s really obvious it’s not gonna be a quality game at all but at least the artwork looks neat. Anyways, I know there might be people out there actually having fun with this game and more power to them but I personally can’t because I’m just really disappointed with this game even if it’s kinda obvious at the end of the day, have a great day to you guys and stay safe during the harsh things that’s going on right now ### 2/5 — unimpressed *2020-06-30, version 1.0.1* i knew this was going to be a simple clicker game when i downloaded it, but i was still pretty disappointed. i installed it anyway because hey, it's miku and i've been a vocaloid fan since 2014. i'll admit it's pretty cute, but after an hour or so of tapping away to the same five tracks playing in the background, i was bored by it. the power-ups, outfits and figurines are a unique touch to a simple concept, but after seeing that the next figurine cost over 10 trillion star point things, i gave up and it lost its appeal. i get how this game could be fun and addicting to other people, but as someone who is a big fan of rhythm games like project diva and cytus, it's just not for me. ### 3/5 — ❤️Miku *2020-06-26, version 1.0.1* I love Miku, I was so happy that they were making a Miku game and going to put it in the apple store. But this game helped me a lot on how to understand it. Real concerts, all the figurines etc. And I found this game quite entertaining. Sure you just tap and hope for the best, but it’s much more funner even if your as big as a hatsune miku fan as me. You can unlock outfits, figurines, levels and unlock new pets. Sure the stuff in the game is pretty expensive but no need to pay to win. Play it yourself!
