## What is Hauly?

Your makeup and skincare collection, finally in one place.

Hauly is a calm, private home for everything on your vanity. Log what you own, know what's still good, and stop buying the shade you already have.

WHAT'S ON YOUR SHELF
Add products by scanning the packaging or typing them in. Sort by category or by colour, see every shade at a glance, and search your own collection before you buy. It's the two-tap answer to "do I already own this?"

KNOW WHAT'S STILL GOOD
Tell Hauly when you opened something and it works out the rest. Period-After-Opening estimates for every category mean you get a gentle reminder before a mascara turns, not six months after. Sealed backups are tracked separately, so you always know what's waiting.

RESTOCK WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT IT
Mark a product as running low and it lands on your restock list. See what's in use, what's nearly done, and what you've already replaced.

FIND THE LOOKALIKE
Matching a foundation shade or hunting for something similar to a product you loved? Match helps you narrow it down using shades and finishes, with suggestions from other Hauly users.

STUDIO: RITUALS, LOOKS, STARS AND LEARN
Log your morning and evening routines and build a streak. Save your favourite looks as recipes you can actually repeat. Check your weekly beauty horoscope. And read the Hauly Gazette, a growing library of short, genuinely useful lessons on ingredients, formulas and skin.

PROJECT PAN
Working through what you own instead of buying more? Track a product all the way to the bottom, watch the progress build, and celebrate hitting pan.

CIRCLE: YOUR FRIENDS, NOBODY ELSE
A small private feed for the people you actually know. @handles only, no real names, no follower counts, no ads, no influencers. Share a shelfie, ask what everyone's using, rehome the thing that didn't suit you.

BUILT TO BE PRIVATE
Hauly works fully without an account. Open it and start adding. If you do sign up, your collection syncs across your devices through your own iCloud. Your product photos stay on your device and in your iCloud. The only time a photo leaves is when you choose to share that product with your Circle. No prices, no shopping cart, no affiliate links. We don't sell anything and we don't sell you.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.4 — 2026-10-22

What’s new in 1.1.4

• Never miss an expiry date: products that are about to expire now appear as a reminder at the top of your Haul. Tap it to see which ones, or tap “Got it” to hide it until a product gets closer to its date.
• In your Profile, you can now tap “Expiring soon” to see exactly which products it’s counting.
• Custom ritual schedules now work properly: treatments set to your own schedule only show as due on their scheduled days, not every day.
• Your ritual diary no longer lists a treatment as “not logged” on days it wasn’t scheduled, and streaks and monthly goals now follow your custom schedule too.

Thank you for all your feedback. Keep it coming!

### 1.1.3 — 2026-10-01

New in 1.1.3: your ritual calendar is now a diary. Jot notes on any day, share your month in review, and let fresh tips guide you as you explore Hauly.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-09-09

Backup is now free for everyone.
Saving your collection to your Hauly account used to be part of Plus. It isn't any more. Every account now backs up product details, restock state and expiry dates, and gets them back on any phone you sign in to — nothing to pay, nothing to switch on.
Also new
• Your ritual month in review is free. See your streaks and highlights without Plus.
• A few gentle one-time tips point out things that are easy to miss, like sharing your empties as a card. They show once and never nag.
Fixed
• The purchase screen no longer offers a free trial to an Apple Account that has already used one.
• Clearer wording about what is stored where: your product photos sync through iCloud, your collection details through your Hauly account.
• Several Hauly Plus features are now marked consistently across the app.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-09-06

Fixes, mostly from things you told us about.

• Banners no longer cover the page. The iCloud and store notices used to
float over whichever tab you were on and hide its heading. They now sit
above the tabs, where they belong.

• Circle makes sense when you're signed out. Instead of an empty feed and
buttons that went nowhere, you get one clear way in.

• Manage your subscription from anywhere. The link now appears whenever a
subscription is active, so you can always reach it from your profile.

• New articles in the Gazette, more to learn and read

### 1.1 — 2026-09-04

Hauly Plus is here — back up your whole collection, sync every device,
scan ingredients lists, share your Looks, and import a haul from a
receipt photo. Your first 50 products stay free forever.
