## What is Haunt?

Haunt turns your home into a haunted house. Your Philips Hue lights, your speakers and your phone work together in a timed, themed horror experience orchestrated by an AI. Not just an effect — a slow-building dread, an approaching threat and a house that calls you by name.

FEAR IS A STAGE
• Lights come alive by their physical position: something truly moves through your room (Hue Entertainment choreography).
• Whispers arrive spatially — with a HomePod or AirPlay speaker, the house speaks "from the next room."
• The house calls you by name; the threat is always in the next room.
• 55% silence, false-safety moments and an unresolved ending: real dread.

FIFTEEN CULTURAL THEMES — ALL FREE
Djinn, Onryō, Forest Spirit, Victorian manor, La Llorona, sleep paralysis (Karabasan), digital found-footage, Its Laughter Draws Near, Something in the Dark, The Guest Who Left, The One Who Splits, Static Child, The Winding Paths, The Guttering Candle, Am I Beautiful? Each theme has its own colour, rhythm and voice. You set the duration and the jump-scare frequency.

YOUR HOME, YOUR RULES
• The panic button and "Hey Siri, Haunt stop" return everything to normal at any moment.
• Light effects stay within epilepsy-safe limits (≤3 flashes/sec). The only exception is Studio Mode: in scenarios you wrote yourself, after a separate consent screen and only on your own device, you may raise that limit; shared community content always stays at ≤3 flashes/sec.
• A room you switch off is NEVER touched during a session — our nursery promise.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
No account, no cloud, no tracking. Your name and preferences stay on your device only.

Haunt is completely free — all fifteen themes, multi-room "next room" audio, location-aware light, the dread engine and the panic button are included. No subscription, no in-app purchases. A Philips Hue Bridge is recommended; without one, your phone knows how to scare you too.

• Studio Mode: widen the limits in your own scenarios after an explicit consent screen (shared content always stays at ≤3 flashes/sec).
• Protected rooms: the "don't touch the nursery" promise is now bound to the ROOM — a bulb added to it later is protected too, and whole-home effects no longer reach it.
• Night guard: sessions starting between 23:00 and 07:00 automatically soften intensity and volume.
• The iOS "Dim Flashing Lights" setting now also applies to your Hue bulbs.
• 15 themes — all free; new sounds and better-balanced choreography.
