However, currently stuck in the pool room trying to enter the ROGERS code on the push buttons and absolutely will not solve. Have waited days, have restarted, and this task will not work. Bonus game where you had to use a skull key on a skull failed because even using the hint, which clearly indicated where the key was to be used did not allow the key to be taken from inventory and placed in the keyhole of the skull. I replayed the entire game to check for quality control and found a problem at the end of the bonus chapter. The second rose that was needed to enter the hotel disappeared from inventory. Only solution was to reset the bonus chapter and replay. Annoying, so I am lowering my rating to 3. ———— Second update. If not for the reset need in the locker room this would have been a 5. It is the best game from this developer in a long time. Interesting and varied puzzles and HOGs. Also a good length to the game and bonus chapter. Keep up with this and you have a winner. Update 7/18 - I reset the game and finally got it to unlock. ———- In the swimming pool area the locker will not unlock. I even consulted the strategy guide which I rarely do, and even after selecting the correct buttons nothing happens. Am I missing something? **Developer response:** Hi! I had the same Rogers locker issue that apparently a number of people have been having. Ok, deep breath. I’ll play through again and hopefully will get past it the second time. But I couldn’t even get there. This time, I got to the Study, tried to put the blind pull on the blinds, and absolutely couldn’t. It was the only move I could make to go forward, it’s what the hint kept telling me to do, but it wouldn’t work. All I have got is white squares/rectangles all over the screen. Think someone needs to get it sorted. I have requested all my money back as I am not wasting money for unplayable games. At locker where it spells ROGERS. Clearly you need to press the buttons below in the correct order. I used my HINT to prove I was starting on the correct “R”.,,.... yet I can’t get past it. Remember to show some love to this wonderful and quirky developer! It’s been a long wait! Released today (7/24): Friendly Fox surprised me this morning with Bridge to Another World: Glass! It’s 1.2 gigs and should be fabulous. I wanted to give those of you who are extremely depressed over the pandemic some welcome news! Time for Elephant trivia, especially for newer gamers. The series Mystery Trackers features Agent Brown, a crime fighter with a sidekick named Elf. In Grim Tales we play as time traveling Detective Anna Gray, along with her talking skull. Finally, in Haunted Hotel, Detective James Blackthorn always investigates crime when he should be enjoying a vacation. Put these three investigators together, and it gives you another series: Detectives United! On to the game. The latest installment in the series was very haunting, and reminiscent of an old film, Lost Horizons. Whoever tried to leave the island of Shangri-la aged rapidly and died. I won’t ruin the ending of the game but this one left me a both happy and sad at the same time, because in addition to the horror genre the storyline was a tragic tale of romance derailed. This game was terrific. It was a bit longer and I didn’t feel cheated out of $6.99 for a change. The HO scenes had variety, but they weren’t very unusual or novel. I enjoyed the selection of puzzles and games. As per Elephant, there was definitely a puzzle to suit every player. Of course we saw a ton of tasks at each location and plenty of collectibles. The map functioned perfectly, for a nice change. However I did encounter some touchscreen sensitivity issues. Sometimes it was difficult to manipulate certain puzzles and apply inventory. Other than that I didn’t face any other hurdles. My true rating will be 4.5 stars, and the deduction was for the technical issues. I loved the storyline and the Victorian graphics, and it was a great game. Play and enjoy. Update: we will hopefully see the release of Dark Romance: Ashville this week (week of 7/27). It was delayed on the App Store due to technical problems. Naturally!😡 **Developer response:** Thank you so much! This is a pretty long game well worth the money. It’s a good storyline with good amount of puzzles and a handy map and collectibles.
