Just started and at for now I really like it...I think some hints for the app would be nice rather than pushing me to a Facebook page....that is the one thing I don't like.....that would be the one thing that might deter me from future purchases....

It's' not The Room, but it's a nice past time until the next rendition of The Room comes out. Some issues with correct placement of objects; you undertake the right action, but the program says it's incorrect because the action is not exact. Annoying, but overall enjoyable

I found this game a little frustrating at first, after the slightly more intuitive and interactive game play of The Room and The Room 2, but once I stopped comparing the two I found Haunted Manor very enjoyable.  Move from room to room and observe.  Things you do in one room may have an effect on things in another room. Some of the nay sayers here clearly didn't get that.  Took me two sessions to solve this one, and on to the next.  If you liked this game, try the other two I mentioned.  Good exercise for the brain.

Also there is no way to beat the gas stove puzzle, there should be 1 dial that only moves itself. This is impossible and a very early puzzle, not worth the price. No way to get past this to continue game.  lots of black frozen screens that require you to reload the game.

Unfortunately, after completing about 3/4 of the game, it froze. I am unable to complete an essential task because of this and, therefore, cannot continue with the game. Frustrated and apprehensive about purchasing the second version. I'll give 2 stars as it was a kinda fun and the puzzles were a bit challenging

Clumsy interface, poor quality graphics, repetitive musical score (I'm being kind referring to it as a score), and awful grammar all detract from the atmosphere. Atmosphere and story are what make games like this great. This certainly falls far short. Look at games like Year Walk and The Room for how to make an awesome game. Puzzles were okay but simple. Color theme throughout was a nice touch.

The "spin things random things until they magically line up correctly" puzzles are all through out the first few scenes of this game and it's making me want to quit. No options to skip or helpful walk throughs online. Too frustrating for me.

I haven't made it very far through the game and I am at the point you pull the lever over the purple fireplace and for some reason the lever won't appear how am I supposed to finish the game?! So mad I paid for this!

That took two hours tops and wasn't difficult at all. The answers to everything are out in the open and once you see the puzzle they're to solve, it's very obvious and the notebook has the solution right in it. Meh.

The puzzles were fun. Some were more difficult and some very easy if you just pay attention. My only real complaint is i was done in a few hours. On games like this you don't go back and replay the game because you already know all the secrets. I would think for 3 bucks I would get more gametime than that. Thats the only reason I am giving it 3 stars. If it had been longer and worth the money it would have been a 5. Hopefully the new one is longer!!

I love trying new games, trying to fight my short term memory loss (use it or lose it). I delete most of the games I try but this is one is perfect for me, challenging but not impossible.

Not too easy. Not too hard. Great adventure game. Had some parts that stumped me for awhile, but I would leave it, then come back and figured it out. Fun!

Just downloaded it. Haven't gotten far but I'm liking it so far. I would suggest though to maybe have a hint button because there are times when you truly do get stuck. Otherwise I really like it.

This was definitely worth the 3 dollars. It had everything I was hoping for: a good story, clever puzzles, and a real creep factor. The puzzles are fun with a little bit of patience. But if you get stuck there's a Facebook connection with a walk through. Great game!!

On the whole, this is a good puzzler game.  It took me about three hours to solve it, which is a worthwhile play.  Really only one puzzle was frustrating to me, and that was because I missed a very subtle bit one room earlier which,  had I cracked it, would have made the other puzzle much easier.  No spoilers from me, though.

It's not as interactive as The Room, but it's a fun play, and I found the gothic atmosphere enjoyable. Hoping the sequel comes out soon.

I really like this game. Makes you think. Though I do wish it had a hint button since I'm stuck.
To those who are thinking about buying this game it's worth it. Use your notebook it will help. 
Anyone who can tell me how to find the pendulum it would be greatly appreciated.
