### 1/5 — Bad

*2021-01-13*

Such an important subject and such a miserable attempt to help these people. I really hope they can fix and develop this app into something useful. Great idea but no follow-through.
Not much to the app. You can’t search areas and no options.
They show a thumb nail photo, listed next to it is the date of birth, date missing and the city the child is from. Nothing else. Below the photo is a “ description”. However, no new info is provided, it’s a repeat of the the listed info above it. A few descriptions include a phrase something like “same person in both photos” but there was only one photo shown.
It only includes children missing from the past 1-2 months.
I scanned the logo on Clipper to link me with my area. This shows those missing individuals in local counties. That part worked. It quickly showed a map and photos of kids missing from all Southern CA. My local area included OC, San Diego and LOs Angeles...Yet ONLY 6 people popped up! What????
I’d love to see these kids found and reunited with their families but it’s not going to happen with this app as it’s designed now.
Great concept, lousy app.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2020-11-03, version 1.2.2*

Keep crashing upon opening.

### 1/5 — The Children Deserve Better

*2020-10-10, version 1.2.2*

I think the concept and idea behind the app is amazing, but it could have better content to actually assist with these missing children. Additional information/content and user friendly app navigation throughout the app needs to be applied!

### 1/5 — Keeps crashing

*2020-08-18*

I wish this app worked. I seen a lot of negative reviews and some positive reviews but I decided to try it anyway. Well as soon as I downloaded it it asked me if it can use my camera, I said yes. It asked me for location I said while using the app. Then…it crashes! I tried to open the app over and over again but as soon as I open it it crashes so I’ll be deleting the app. I will try again soon but if it does the same thing I will delete again and stop trying. Please fix this because I’m sure this could be a great app if the developers would put more work into it. Thanks.

### 1/5 — Irrevocably disappointing

*2020-07-28*

I don’t believe I have ever rated anything 1 star before. If I’m being completely honest, I don’t usually rate things at all, unless I’ve been knocked-off-my-feet impressed. This has made me knocked-on-my-ass disappointed. Someone, anyone, please tell me how in the hell this app could actually help find a missing loved one...?
Why does the tiny newspaper clipping have far more helpful info on this missing person than the app it encourages you to download ? There isn’t a single photo of anyone in this app. If the newspaper’s image of these individuals were digitally transferred to the app, then I could have understood it to be helpful. Even without the intellectually manufactured aged version of the photo! But, nope. I am certain that even a professional sketch artist working for a police dept couldn’t even come close to drawing an accurate image of a missing person based on the generic info provided on this app.

### 1/5 — Great idea...

*2019-10-01, version 1.2.2*

This IS a wonderful concept. The app doesn’t function for me at all. It doesn’t have a scanner. Just a screen from my camera with nothing. It has a tip that says scan with phone camera, but there isn’t a scanner.

### 1/5 — Save the posts!

*2019-04-05*

I love the concept of this app. I do think the scanning the pictures and seeing others in the area is nice but there needs to be a way to at least save those in my phone so when I’m out and about I can pull them up instead of having to carry a paper to scan in my phone. I love the map and seeing like about where their location is but this app needs to be more reliable if I’m actually going to be on the lookout for missing people.

### 1/5 — Great idea

*2019-01-27, version 1.2.2*

This is a great idea but not functional at all. It doesn’t let you choose from different areas. Only a select view of people are seen on my phone. Definitely needs a lot of work.

### 1/5 — Terrible interface

*2018-10-23, version 1.2.2*

The app requires you to scan the back of your Red Plumb (now named RetailMeNot) circular and then displayed augmented reality images of the missing individuals. Drop the gimmicks and make a similar app! These kids lives depend on being seen!

### 1/5 — Good idea, bad app

*2018-10-22, version 1.2.2*

Interface is klunky and delayed. Why scan the magazine? Wouldn't it reach more people if you just typed in where you are? And you could share the app with more people, I'm less likely to hand somebody a red plum magazine and tell them to download this app. You can't even zoom in on age progressed photos.

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2018-06-23, version 1.2.2*

This organization needs to invest in an app that functions easily and one that makes sense. The app scan function does not work. It is a clunky app to move around in. Horrible design and function. Back to the drawing board, Valassis, please!

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2018-04-07, version 1.2.2*

Stop complicating. What exactly is the point of having to scan the logo EVERY SINGLE TIME I USE THE APP? I wouldn't be surprised if this app was some kind of scam. If you want people to help (as many of us would want to) don't add unnecessary hurdles.

### 1/5 — App isn't working...

*2018-01-01, version 1.2.2*

Why would I need to scan your logo to help find missing kids? Totally unnecessary hurdle to downloading this app! It doesn't even allow you past the part where it's supposedly scanning the logo. It's as if you don't want people to download the app at all

### 1/5 — Scan doesn’t work, and bad idea

*2017-11-16, version 1.2.2*

The scanning feature doesn’t work at all. I tried for 3 minutes to scan the back of a redplum magazine with no success. When I switched to list view none of the pictures of the missing people load... so an entire waste of time.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Extremely sad and disappointing

*2022-12-12*

The rest of the reviews say it all- this app is horrible. My heart breaks for all the missing children that is app is not doing justice. Someone needs to make this app- it’s a great concept. But this app is not it executing in the least bit….

### 1/5 — Oh how I wish I had read these reviews before I down

*2022-08-31*

This app stinks! There’s got to be a better way to help find lost kids!!!

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2022-04-07*

There are missing kids out there in the app doesn’t work at all the scanner doesn’t work to find the kid he doesn’t even show my camera and honestly it just freaks me out because it makes me think that someone’s gonna come and track me or some thing there’s no way to just scan through people in your area to look out for they can successfully make a Burger King app but they can’t put missing kids on an app it’s sad

### 1/5 — Should be called, can you use me?

*2022-04-05*

This app is so bad I feel that’s it’s a virus in disguise.

### 1/5 — It doesn’t work

*2021-11-28*

Work on this app so we can help find missing kids.
It’s useless.

### 1/5 — Please improve the app

*2021-11-18*

The app isn’t good at all.

### 1/5 — Need to improve this app

*2021-09-29*

There’s not much you can do on this app to help find the kissing children. Gives you very little information on them with only one picture of what they look like. Also, the scanning logo thing isn’t working for me at all and also it only shows me 6 profiles of missing children. There should be way more than that.

### 1/5 — Extremely cheap and unusable app

*2021-09-09*

Just like everyone says, not even worth downloading. You can’t even do anything to see or help find people or have any information about them.

### 1/5 — Not very useful

*2021-07-29*

Only six missing children showed up after I scanned the logo. I know there’s way more missing children than that in PA, Ohio, WV…

### 1/5 — App errors

*2021-04-07*

App doesn’t allow you to scan the logo from a newspaper add to complete registration. There’s no point in the app if you can properly register

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — 5 star

*2022-07-07*

I had trouble but now it is good using I love it it is the best

### 5/5 — Have You Seen Me (Work)?

*2017-12-13, version 1.2.2*

Yes, it does. As advertised.
* (Although instructions as presented on App Store are not quite as conclusive as they need to be.)

### 5/5 — Great idea!

*2016-03-29, version 1.1*

This app is an awesome idea. Being able to scan the logo in an advertising insert is an efficient way to raise awareness to a community about missing children.

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2016-03-29, version 1.1*

Love the idea behind this app! Great way to help find some of these kids!

### 5/5 — Great idea!

*2016-03-27, version 1.1*

This app is very interactive and a great idea to help find missing children. I appreciate Valassis for contributing to the search for these kids!

### 3/5 — It does work

*2018-02-22, version 1.2.2*

The scan worked fine for me. I held it carefully until it seemed to work, only a few seconds. Going through the pictures is a little clunky and I wish I could make the age enhanced pictures bigger as they’re a little hard to see. But the app works for me.

### 3/5 — Hi

*2017-11-08, version 1.2.2*

Hi this app works if you press the switch view button when scanning. I am just now having problems with it loading the pictures after using it for a while and it working fine.

God bless.

### 3/5 — Good idea, not great execution

*2016-03-22, version 1.0.1*

I like the idea of this app but the logo scanning is kind of difficult. I want to help relocate these kids.

### 2/5 — More functions would make app worth keeping

*2019-05-20*

I thought this app would open up additional options for helping to find lost people- perhaps a list I could save or additional photos of the missing person to help in identifying. As much as I find social media “sharing” buttons useless on most other apps, having that feature on this app could be a helpful addition- especially when sharing info locally.
I agree with other reviewers, more features in the app would make it worth downloading and keeping!

### 2/5 — Please fix this app

*2018-12-10*

This is a fantastic idea to help find missing people but it’s an awful functioning app. Maybe someone could volunteer that knows how to makes apps? If it worked right, it could save so many more people! I know there’s people missing from my area but. One of them showed up. I got someone from DC and Medford and only about 10 people total showed up. This type of app should be a priority!!

Thank you
