## What is Haven?

Haven is a self-hosted encrypted chat app. Connect to your own Haven server and talk with end-to-end encryption — no third-party host, no data harvest.

END-TO-END ENCRYPTION
Direct messages use ECDH P-256, HKDF-SHA256, and AES-256-GCM. Keys are made on this device and stay there. Optional encrypted key backup restores them with your password. Images and file attachments in DMs are not end-to-end encrypted yet.

CHAT
• Public, private, and DM channels
• Reactions, custom server emoji, reply threads
• Edit, delete, and pin
• Images, video, files, and a GIF picker
• Typing indicators and search

VOICE AND VIDEO
• Voice channels over WebRTC
• Video and screen sharing
• Mute and deafen

THEMES
Haven Purple, Discord, Matrix, Tron, Halo, Lord of the Rings, Cyberpunk, Nord, Dracula, Bloodborne, Ice, Abyss, Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Minecraft, Final Fantasy X, Zelda, Fallout, Scripture, Chapel, Gospel, Midnight Purple, CRT, Windows 95, and Braid.

SELF-HOSTED
Haven talks to YOUR server. You run the box. We do not hold your messages.

TRY IT
On the connect screen, tap Try the demo. That run is on-device with sample channels. No server required.

REQUIREMENTS
• A Haven server, or the on-device demo
• iOS 16 or later

Haven is free.
