Freezes my phone every time I try to use it. ### 2/5 — Poor App Experience *2025-11-23, version 7.8.1* My experience with my interior designer was amazing! Would 10/10 recommend Havenly’s services. Although, their app is very glitchy, unintuitive, and slow. The app has crashed on me numerous times and the UX/UI isn’t very intuitive in some cases especially when I am in the project tab. ### 3/5 — Looking all over! *2025-11-15, version 7.8.1* New to using the app that’s why only 3 stars. Helped me find two end chairs for my dining room table at a great price! Bummed that I can’t even get product ideas for bathrooms and kitchens. Feel forced to use their designers for help which bums me out. Recommendations for leaving were not impressive HOWEVER, I am new and probably not interacting with the app to get the most out of it. So far a thumbs up as compared to the four other apps I have tried using over the past six months! ### 1/5 — Bad service *2025-07-06, version 7.7.1* Service is not useful at all. Designer informed us they didn’t need any dimensions of room at all (which is insane when we asked for layout help). Just sent us furniture options over and over to try to get their commission, would not recommend. Ended up getting my money back but they recommend items from their associated sites, nothing was ever branched out from, ai is better and free ### 1/5 — The app is for the shopping list not for designs *2025-05-29, version 7.6.8* I started a project with a great designer, but it was unexpectedly halted by the app. I couldn’t find any policy restricting international projects, yet Havenly later stated they don’t support clients outside the U.S. due to product availability and shipping issues. If the issue is the shopping list, I was more than willing to use recommended items. As a customer, purchasing should be optional—I saw no requirement to buy from their list. The designer was excellent, and the confusion seemed to come from the app, not her. Since the service is fully remote, the real limitation appears to be product fulfillment, not design. If that’s the case, the app should market itself as a shopping service—not “home design for everyone.” ### 1/5 — No free trial *2025-04-13, version 7.6.4* With many negative reviews at the top, I was hoping for at least one free trial image. How disappointing. How can I blindly drop $100+ on an app? ### 1/5 — Horrible customer service and no show designer *2025-03-29, version 7.6.2* I selected my designer and they no showed on me twice without any apology, notice, or anything. Customer service blamed me for not calculating time zones correctly (I was correct). Also customer service takes 48-72 hours to respond to anything and you must communicate via email, there is no phone number to call. ### 2/5 — Non Responsive Designers and Lagging Customer Service. *2025-03-07, version 7.5.7* I purchased my package over a month ago and have yet to talk to a designer. I selected a designer, waited two weeks and they canceled the night before. I selected another designer waited another two weeks, and they didn’t show up for the call, no warning. I rescheduled the call, waited another week and they didn’t show up again. When I let customer service know about the first instances, it took them about 2 weeks to respond. This isn’t good. I’m having a terrible experience. I’ve paid money, done all of the front end work, pictures AND drawings and questionnaires and uploads and I STILL don’t have a design. ### 2/5 — Hard to use *2025-01-12, version 7.5.0* The flow of the app, the fact you need to go through each screen for your projects over and over and cannot see the info in your designer or easily pick your designer seems flawed. ### 2/5 — App fail *2024-09-21, version 7.4.0* The app is not user friendly. Worse customer service on the planet two of the items were delivered to New Jersey instead of Arizona. And my money still has not been returned over a month later. Two items that did not match and were poor quality. You have to jump through hoops to return. You have to pay for return yourself! And the shipping cost could be higher than the cost of the item. And if they receive it and decide to return your money, there is a 15% restocking fee so essentially your negative from the get-go. horrible app horrible customer service. do not waste your money on buying product from here buy it from the original sites or Amazon where you can return anywhere without jumping through hoops having to take pictures to FedEx, UPS etc. yourself carrying big heavy boxes etc ### 1/5 — No one responds at all after paying! *2024-07-29, version 7.3.6* I paid for an in person design package and there’s radio silence. I can’t get my designer or Havenly customer service to respond to me. This is a pretty horrible experience after paying hundreds of dollars. ### 2/5 — Be careful *2024-06-16, version 7.3.3* Be careful. The designers are hit and miss. You will get some ideas to work with though. Once you get your items, do not buy from them. They are middlemen and terrible at it. I bought two items from them. They missed the delivery window. One item took 10 back and forth emails and when it arrived, it was damaged. I’ve spent so much time on this that it isn’t worth it. Let’s see how they resolve this issue. ### 3/5 — That’s a no from me *2024-05-11, version 7.3.2* Haven’t really used the app because they make you fill out a bunch of information before being able to use it like your ADDRESS?! Like, be more obvious that you want to sell my information. I had made four orders with this app and each one has more issues to the point where I will no longer order from the site. The customer service team takes days to get back to you and you must constantly bug them to get what you need. It is a complete waste of time and money. The designer ghosted me for 30+ days after buying a full design package. Everything I ordered took 8+ weeks to arrive and their customer service is AWFUL. Huge waste of time and money ### 1/5 — Both the app and the design services disappoint *2026-01-05, version 7.8.5* I paid for design services, but the final rendering had the colors in my home wrong, and included a couch that wasn’t one of my purchase options. I sent feedback about that, but haven’t heard anything (to be fair, the feedback was sent just after New Years, so maybe due to a holiday backlog). The designer doesn’t seem to read all of my messages, so suggests things I already stated was not an option. You can’t move around in the rendering, so only have 2 static views that just seem off in terms of proportions. Such a disappointment compared to the online services I used for design 6 years ago! ### 1/5 — The worst *2025-12-05, version 7.8.4* I ordered a design for my son’s room. It took two weeks to get the design back. At first they have you pick out items from the photos they provide and then they just use those exact same items for your room. The design I got back laughable. I wish I could attach a picture for you all to see. Not comparable to modsy at all. This is very very bad. I’m going to try now figure out how to get my $80 back that I paid for this scam. ### 1/5 — Worst app design *2025-10-12, version 7.7.8* One of the worst apps developed. I was looking for strollers and on Google search havenly popped up. So I ordered Nina stroller system which was on 600$ sale through havenly. They cancelled the order after 2 days and by that time manufacturer ended the 600$ offer. When I contacted havenly the response I got was “we were not supposed to sell these products, we don’t know why they are showing on our website”. A basic web development course will help you in building a better website than this. Now I am at loss of 600$ and there is nothing this company did. ### 1/5 — Garbage - don’t waste your money *2025-09-07, version 7.7.6* This designers and this app are absolute garbage. I used two different designers and neither was capable of taking my ideas and feedback and turning it into a useable design. One was even downright rude. I bet they spent 15 minutes total on it all and of course picked the most expensive things to commission themselves — though absolutely none of them were my style so I’ll be purchasing absolutely nothing. The app isn’t capable of doing more than what I already did on my iPad. The whole idea of paying someone was to elevate the vision and ideas, but this was an absolute complete waste of my time and money. Am very disappointed and under no circumstances would I recommend this service to anyone. ### 1/5 — Terrible tech / AI slop *2025-08-12, version 7.7.3* Do not purchase anything from them, they make it appear as they have real designers but once you pay they say the designer selected isn’t available and give you 3 AI options. Absolutely disgusting business practices. Our designer has been MIA for two weeks after setting expectations with us that the entire process would take under that time. But I wanted some guidance to have a more polished look in my home, find a style that worked for me and for my family, and met our needs for comfort. We wanted every space to be useful and usable. Jonica was patient and really sought to understand our needs and desires. Keep in mind Havenly is a startup like company and several areas are not as mature as purchasing from Amazon, so if you are patient and willing to give grace to their honest mistakes and work with them, they will work with you. 😊 ### 5/5 — Needs spring cleaning *2023-09-27, version 7.0.4* Many of the designers featured on this platform don’t actually work there anymore. You go through the work of selecting the perfect designer, wait for them to start, and nothing. Email customer service only to find out it’s a dead profile, again, and again, and again. This app needs serious clean up. When you actually get a designer, it’s a great process and concept. I’ve recommended it in the past but hard to now. ### 5/5 — So Happy with Havenly *2023-04-17, version 6.9.3* Havenly has completely transformed my living space. I used the free features of the app for about a year to get inspiration and do small updates to my home. However, I couldn't find a bedroom and living room design on Pinterest or elsewhere that really felt like my own. Finally I decided to try out their paid design service. It was a very easy process and there were only a few minimal bugs, which customer support helped me through quickly. My designer, Melisa absolutely nailed a bedroom and living room design that I love, and kept a relatively low budget. Meanwhile, my friends and relatives complain that they've spent over $5000 just to get some basic interior design consulting and mood boards that they didn't even like. Havenly fully rendered my room in 3d and gave me a comprehensive shopping list. They will even purchase items for you.
