The bikes are in a terrible condition. You really need to check the tires and brakes before you take one. And behold, if you take a broken bike and you want to exchange it at a station…well that’s not possible (with a day pass). You have to walk to another station first. And many stations don’t work. 🎉 The display won’t turn on and if it works it takes ages before you get your code. Sometimes they’re not able to read your credit card. Some stations are out of order and have a sticker which says you should check the app for an another station but they’re still on the map. So don’t trust the map. 😂 It took us 2 hours and 6 minutes to finish our 24 minute ride. Instead you should be using the (poorly named) PBSC app, which will also work for other cities.
