I have to look up account numbers and passwords in order to checkout every single time. Impossibly cumbersome! ### 1/5 — Horrible! Never works *2021-02-03, version 2020.2* The app is horrible. It constantly asks for my log in info even though it is saved. I can never borrow a book. It crashes or says some error occurred. I was so excited to borrow books for my kindle, but I guess I am better off using Amazon for ebooks. ### 1/5 — Buggy and glitchy. *2021-01-25, version 2020.2* This app won’t let me login even though my library account is in good standing. I know my library card number and PIN and it still won’t let me login. Searching for items takes forever. It would be great to have a library app that actually works as it should. I’m having issues as I’m typing up this review!!! ### 3/5 — When it works… *2022-04-06, version 2021.1* When I first got it, I ran into the same problem others have mentioned where I had to keep logging in. Then one day it actually kept me logged in and worked well for a few months. Loved how easy it was to place holds and look titles up. Didn't like how cramped the app feels and how difficult and convoluted it is to schedule a time to pick up the holds. Why can't you do that through the app itself? You just have to rely on email and the library's website and don't get any notification on the app when your holds are ready to be picked up. Recently, I downloaded the Libby app where we can check out online resources through the Hawaiian libraries, and I couldn't log in with my card and pin. Then this library app stopped working and wouldn't allow me to log in. I finally logged in to the Libby app, but now I can't log in with my pin and card at all with the library app. It's irritating because I want to use it and love using the library. This app is long due for an update. The website, app, and online checkouts feel outdated and clunky. Wish all of them got updated and felt more cohesive. There should be more advertising of the app to the library's patrons and maintenance of the app. There should be a direct link in the app itself to online resources to read them in a browser or to the external app Libby. ### 3/5 — It’s great when it works *2021-12-03, version 2021.1* Glitchy though, I have to sign out and log in anytime I want to use it. ### 4/5 — It’s Alright *2022-11-12, version 2021.1* It’s not a terrible app, can be a bit slow at first but I’m pretty sure you need a library card to even make an account. It shows how many books you have checked out and when they’re due, which is convenient. The resources available are plentiful and very useful.
