I'm planning a trip back to see my home and this just helped me tremendously to have memories and I am thrilled. I give it five stars. I am able to learn a lot of Hawaiian words but I don’t know if I’m pronouncing them right because I thought this was a free app but you have to pay to be able to listen to the pronunciation

Moved to OR about 6 years ago and really miss my home state. Keep connected by using Hawaiian words and phrases, that I grew up with, as usernames or passwords. No, I don’t use “Aloha” as it’s well-known and easy to guess. The Hawaii Words site helps me create interesting PWs.

This app is great for simple and easy to use translation. But the pronunciation feature is terrible. For Mahalo is says “ah” for aloha it says “ah .. oh ... ah”. For ‘ae, which should be something like ay. It says ah - ee.
