Drivers are always late when booking, When you book in advance the driver is literally confirmed less than 5 minutes from when they are supposed to pick you up. I spoke to one of the drivers and he said don’t bother using the app at all, no one monitors it and it’s a total waist of time!!! I’d rather use UBER going forward ### 1/5 — No point in booking *2025-05-15, version 36.0.7* I booked a taxi for 8:10 and I was assigned a driver at around 8:05. The driver was 3 minutes away from my house but didn’t drive over to my house he just sat in the same spot for 15 minutes, causing me to miss my train. Any other time I have booked a taxi a day ahead it has almost always been late, on the rare occasion they are early, so what’s the point in pre booking if they won’t prioritise you during the time of your booking? ### 1/5 — Booked an paid in advance for it not to turn up without chasing *2025-03-01, version 35.1.9* Booked the taxi for 11pm. We have Uber in Ipswich now. Driver jumped a red light, sat at 90 on the A14 and couldn’t stay in a lane. App repeats the process several times then gives up. Waste of time. ### 1/5 — Pointless *2024-06-30, version 34.6.15* I booked a taxi several days ahead of my travel date via the app. The app stated it was confirmed and I was to pay for the journey with cash. Come the day of travel the taxi never arrived. So I called the office and they stated I now needed to pay via a link before they would dispatch a taxi. Now I have no problem if this is their policy. I would happily pay ahead to time. But this was not the case. They used stated cash when travelling was their policy and they had changed. Because of this change my taxi was half an hour late. The operator I spoke to was all to aware of this issue but was not happy to take my complaint and raise it further. So the customer service is awful with slopy shoulder employees that want to bat you off rather then pass on a complaint. Would only use this firm if no one else was available …. And even then I’d consider walking ### 1/5 — Late & no apology *2024-06-14, version 34.6.15* We use Hawk often and always find the drivers to be punctual and often early but today our driver was 14 minutes late, offered no explanation or apology and as a result we have missed our train.
