## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.1 — 2026-08-14

A big update to how you learn in HayatTime.

LEARN, REBUILT
Lessons are now a proper journey. Work down a winding path of modules, answer questions along the way, and keep your streak of small wins going. Four question types, including matching and putting the steps of wudu and salah in order.

LEARN TO PRAY: PRACTICE MODE
The illustrated walkthrough you already know now has a companion section that checks what stuck. Six rounds covering the conditions, the rak'ah, what you say in each posture, the timings and counts, and how to put right a mistake.

ISLAMIC TRIVIA
A calmer way in, so you know what the round is before you pick a difficulty.

GARDEN OF HASANAT
Illustrated plants replace the old placeholders, and your daily deeds now read as a path you walk down rather than a list of boxes.

EVERY HADITH RE-VERIFIED
Every hadith in the app was checked line by line against the primary source. Anything that could not be traced to an exact collection and number was removed or corrected, and citations are now tappable so you can read them yourself.

ALSO IN THIS RELEASE

A gentler, more personal setup when you first open the app

Daily screen time limit now goes up to 6 hours

Clearer walkthroughs across the app

Many fixes to layout, wording and Arabic text rendering

### 1.5 — 2026-07-31

- Set real per-app Screen Time limits: pick exactly how much time you allow for each app
- 2 brand-new Learn courses: The 6 Pillars of Iman and The Names of Allah
- Existing guides (Wudu, Adhkar, 5 Pillars, Quran) are now full multi-module courses with progress tracking
- New Extreme trivia difficulty, plus 130+ new questions
- Fixed a bug where garden progress could reset after signing in
- Faster, smoother tutorials throughout the app

### 1.3.1 — 2026-03-11

What’s New

Widgets fixed: countdowns and prayer times now update correctly on lock screen and home screen.
Smoother animations and improved notifications.
Salah mode now works as intended.
Deen GPT: better, more helpful responses.

### 1.3 — 2026-03-04

Focus Hub & blocking

Custom blocking screens are back: when an app is blocked, you now see a clear, modern screen with a short reminder (including during Salah, Downtime, and Focus) instead of a plain system message.

Focus Hub tutorial and welcome flow are improved so new users see the right steps and “Welcome to Focus Hub” where intended.

Prayer & home screen

Next prayer on the home screen now shows the correct next prayer and time (e.g. after Isha it shows tomorrow’s Fajr with the right time, not today’s).

Countdown to the next prayer is shown under the prayer time with a simple progress bar so you can see how much time is left at a glance.

Location on the home screen is simplified so the next-prayer card is cleaner and easier to read.

Widgets

Prayer widgets (home and lock screen) now show the correct next prayer and time (e.g. after Isha they show tomorrow’s Fajr and its time, not today’s).

Countdown widgets show a real countdown (e.g. “4h 54m”) instead of the same time twice, and lock screen countdowns update properly.

Prayer streak widget now shows your current streak correctly (e.g. 1 day when you’ve completed today’s prayers) instead of staying at 0.

Widget countdown text is adjusted so it no longer overlaps the circle on home and lock screen widgets.

General

A new loading experience when you open the app (replacing the previous logo-only screen).
In-app messages and tips now appear from the top of the screen across the app for a more consistent look.
Various fixes for tutorials, onboarding, and notifications so the app feels more reliable and easier to use.

### 1.2 — 2026-02-27

• Widgets now update automatically in real-time - no need to open the app!
• Live countdown timers show exact time remaining for prayers (MM:SS format)
• Fixed Adhan sound notifications - custom prayer call sounds now play correctly
• Improved widget layouts and text sizes for better readability
• Fixed tutorial navigation issues for smoother onboarding experience
