Latest update is 2 years ago and now I can’t use my pool cleaner anymore. Waste of money

On this page it states that the Developer does not collect any data from this App. They obviously don’t look at the feedback either. They don’t care that most of the reviews are 1 Star. And they haven’t updated the App in a Long time. The App is worse than the actual cleaner itself - which is problematic all the time. Has taken me up to an hour to get the cleaner started and cleaning sometimes - on them off again multiple times just to get it ready to clean. The app doesn’t help. Drops out while trying to upgrade the cleaner and the brain. Then after hours of trying to update the 2 units, it makes no difference. Useless App. Problematic pool cleaner. Hopefully you’re reading this before you buy. Choose a different cleaner so you can stay away from this ridiculous App.

Je pensais pouvoir relier le robot au Wi-Fi domestique et le contrôler à distance, mais pas du tout. On peut juste le contrôler par Wi-Fi en étant à 3m de distance... Quel est l'intérêt ?

Il effectue une connexion wifi mais seulement sur l’appareil, et ne se connecte pas au réseau domestique donc il faut être à côté du socle pour utiliser l’application ! C’est quoi l’utilité ?

App  doesn’t work. Aqua vac can’t connect to iPhone.  No support from Hayward. Do not purchase.

Il n’est pas possible d’utiliser le wifi quand on est connecté au robot car il utilise un réseau wifi dédié avec le smartphone. La mise à jour du firmware nécessité de se déconnecter reconnecter de multiple fois.

Love the machine. The app on the other hand. For some reason the unit will not connect to my IPhone 11. Worked for IphoneX but now I have a new phone and cant use the app. Pleas fix this bug.

Took two days to get this to work. Final answer was to delete and reinstall the app. After that relatively trouble free. App does seem to work as advertised.

Nice cleaner really bad app that won’t connect to iPad or iPhone

Overall, very good app.  The only trade-off is not being able to control or program the cleaner remotely since you need to be directly connect to the controller through WiFi (Like Bluetooth).  The first few times, i forgot to disconnect my WiFi from the cleaner and i was not having access to internet but once use to it, it works fine.  Just need to disable auto-connect in settings of my phone so it does not jump on the Cleaner WiFi every time i’m close to it.

The remote is very responsive and the Spot Clean function very nice and quick.

The password is kind of long but i have disable it since there is no risk of being hacked because it’s not connected to home network.
