### 4/5 — Great tool to have!

*2026-08-10*

I scrolled through everything they have and it seems to be pretty intensive. I think this is a great practical tool to have. I found it when searching for a way to download offline survival guides, but this is much simpler and more practical! Only critique I have is I took one of the prep tests and it didn’t show me my answers. I feel like that is a crucial feature to know what parts I got wrong.

### 5/5 — This is my Go-To App in Emergencies!!

*2026-06-22*

Senior home alone and needed information on a hand injury with bleeding. Opened my HazAdapt app with 1 finger and got all the info I needed on cleaning, wound care and whether I needed medical treatment.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for sharing this, Lolli TX. We are grateful HazAdapt helped you quickly find safety information quickly when you were alone and needed support. That is exactly why we built it, easy emergency information in stressful moments. We hope your hand is healing well, and we are honored to be your go-to emergency app. 🩵

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-08-24*

It’s stuck on “Loading” for any and all guides selected to view. Which renders this app pretty much useless. I already restarted the app, the phone, made sure to have the latest version.

**Developer response:** Hi brito57, thank you for taking the time to share this. We are sorry you ran into the app getting stuck on “Loading.” Since your review, we have released several updates that address issues that could cause this behavior, so please make sure you are on the latest version and try again.

If you are still seeing this problem, we would really like to fix it for you. Please email us at team@hazadapt.com
with your device type and what you were trying to open, and we will be happy to troubleshoot it with you.

Thank you and stay safe!

### 5/5 — Useful and informative

*2025-07-18*

I like the ease-of-use, clear and large buttons that can be accessed during an emergency. I also appreciate the feature telling me my current address and coordinates to have visible if I need to talk with a 911 operator.
The feature “should I call 911” is also very useful for any situation in which someone is unsure and I appreciate the resources the app offers! I’m thankful to have this downloaded on my phone in the event I ever need it or don’t know what to do.

**Developer response:** We love to hear that you found HazAdapt to be easy and clear to use! Absolutely- that 911 location feature was recommended directly by a 911 dispatcher because of that common situation. We're proud to be part of your safety team. - Ginny @ HazAdapt

### 5/5 — Exactly what I need in an emergency

*2025-07-18*

This is one of the few emergency apps that actually feels helpful, not overwhelming. The interface is clean, and the guidance is easy to follow. The information is concise and to the point and is easy to navigate in the event of an emergency. I also really appreciate the inclusive design. It’s clear this was built with care and real-world use in mind. Definitely worth having on your phone. 100% recommend.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the kind review! We're so glad to hear that HazAdapt feels helpful and easy to use. It means a lot to our team to know the design and guidance are working the way we hoped. Thanks for the recommendation and for being part of the HazAdapt community! 💙 The HazAdapt Team

### 1/5 — Not Very Useful (or easy to use)

*2025-05-29*

Hello. I’m 27, and love to be prepared just like anyone else for a disaster be it big or small. However, this app doesn’t do that well and while the information is useful it isn’t presented in a user-friendly manner. The app lags behind, the UI in general needs heavy work, and it’s complicated and frustrating to try and prepare properly or even just take a stroll through the apps contents. If you can get past these issues, then good on you, but it’s a pass from me due to the lack of ease-of-use. In an emergency situation, I wouldn’t have the patience nor time to sit and wait to find the information I need.

**Developer response:** Hi KallistaMetro,
Thanks for your feedback. We’re sorry the app didn’t meet your expectations and appreciate you taking the time to share.
HazAdapt was intentionally designed to support a wide range of users, including those who may be experiencing extreme stress or cognitive overload during a crisis. Because of that, our user interface may feel different than other apps. It prioritizes clarity and inclusive design over flash. While that might not match everyone's personal preferences, this approach is based on research and testing to support decision-making under pressure, especially for people with risk-averse or neurodiverse thinking styles.
We’re also working to improve load times in areas with low connectivity and appreciate your patience as we continue refining the experience.

We hope you’ll give it another try in the future. Your input helps us improve.
The HazAdapt Team

### 5/5 — Great resource

*2023-12-17*

Great to have the ability to read through how to deal with scary situations! It’s definitely helpful to learn how to plan ahead/what to do

**Developer response:** Thank you! That's our goal: helping people be more prepared and confident in their ability to prepare, survive, and recover from disasters and emergencies. Thank you for letting us be part of your safety! - Ginny @ HazAdapt

### 1/5 — Good idea but

*2022-06-28*

The app just sits on the loading screen forever. It was one of those deals where your just watching it so you can quickly touch the screen in time to stop your phone from automatically locking.

Wish it worked 🤷‍♂️😑😞

**Developer response:** Hi there! Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention! We apologize for this experience, and we're working hard to fix this as soon as possible. We'll follow up with you to let you know when this has been resolved.

- Omeed @ HazAdapt

(Update July 7, 2022: Hi there! We just pushed out a fix for this! All you have to do is open the app and the fix will be automatically downloaded to your device. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention! If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to email us at team@hazadapt.com.)

### 5/5 — Should be helpful during stressful situations

*2021-05-17*

Looks like great tool to do the right things versus panicking!

**Developer response:** Thank you! Knowing what to do or where you can quickly get the emergency instructions can make all the difference!
