There is no way to communicate with HBF thorough written communication in the app. On 2 occasions. I have phoned HBF and staff have not recorded notes, so when I follow-up they say they have no record of what I am saying. They ghosted me on email and I have not heard from them, no matter how many times I email asking for a response. Such a shame because back when they had Midland Branch, they were amazing.

Claims seem to disappear into a black hole while they are being processed and you can’t view them. Also there’s no way to provide feedback other than call so I’m doing it here.

Once the app locks you out, you have to login again, set the pin AGAIN.

Why must I constantly set the pin? Why doesn’t your developer program it such that the pin is only entered once? 
Coming from a programming background, your system is not designed properly.
Once pin has been entered, pop up window informing user pin has been entered, requires the user to close it manually. Imho, this step is unnecessary.
It asks again face authentication, pop up window requires user to manually close the window.
Why do you lock us out and we have to do all this nonsense all over again??

Every time there’s an update, you have to re-enter membership and password, get code from email, agree to terms, setup pin and add to wallet. Why TF  can’t you carry this stuff over like other apps do?

The historical claims listed in the App does not include the claim date. In the intersts of completeness and a to give the customer a more informed list of data, the date of the claim should be included. This should be a very simple update to perform by the App developer. My suggestion is to show the date to the right of the claim number and make it right justified.

Though private health insurance it’s a big cost every month, our family have been well taken care of when we’ve needed it, and have had amazing providers. 20+ years with HBF and have never been disappointed. Silver tier member.
