Most remarkable TV show ever the wire incredible the pit I could go on and on the app is easy to use the sound…sounds incredible through my HomePods speakers and my smart TV soundbar… picture on the TV is pristine clean and looks amazing! Warner Brothers I believe or whomeverowns you thank you for everything. You and everyone that works for the company and all the actors and all the producers and all the workers. Thank you for everything. You all bring much enjoyment in life and let’s not forget. Thank you Apple and thank you Steve Jobs for this technology, the world is a better place because of it. It says I don’t have Internet connection when I am connected to Wi-Fi with strong signal. Every other streaming service will work when it says that I don’t have Internet connection. This has been going on since I did the last update and it’s really frustrating because it’s not a cheap service anymore. Oh another thing that’s really annoying is getting any sort of commercial when I pay full price to not get commercials. ### 1/5 — Freezes *2026-08-25, version 7.10.0* Keeps freezing and can’t watch shows. After logging in, it still doesn’t work. I have an active HBO subscription with my cable provider (Xfinity). The only way to get this app to work is to delete it and redownload as for some reason this error doesn’t occur during the first time I use the app. This problem does not occur on any other streaming device (smart tv, computer) ### 1/5 — Frustrated *2026-08-24, version 7.10.0* App keeps asking me to sign into my cable provider. Clearly HBO does not want to support their partner network. We get logged out in the middle of an episode. provider logins only work 25% to 33% of the time. The user experience changes frequently. Sometimes if I quit the app and restart it then I get an entirely different login UI which maybe will work. Tonight the “connect my provider” button is AWOL. Call their help desk and they always blame the third party provider. Their non-premium content is not worth this run-around. ### 1/5 — Worst app by a mile *2026-08-23, version 7.9.0* The cost to watch the champions league is astronomical over £400 per year is utterly barbaric and just treating people as cash cows. AND then you have to watch 3 mins of terrible ads before you get to watch anything … and if you select the wrong episode… 3 more minutes of ads To rub salt into the wound this awful app doesn’t even work properly - try to log in and it says go to some URL that doesn’t even work leaving you stranded Absolutely terrible in every way should be ashamed of themselves.
