HBSUK-Physio is a platform designed to match patients needing specialist care with the correct medical expert. It is a virtual outpatient solution offering video and online consultations at a time convenient to you. It has been designed by clinicians with over 10 years’ experience of designing and running virtual services. Our native smartphone app, developed in partnership with Physitrack, provides access to book and attend appointments with our specialists. The app includes advice on how to stay fit and active and connects you to our team if you need any additional support. For patients who have been recommended an exercise program, you can watch the exercise videos and track your progress, asking questions on exercises that you are uncertain about. These can be viewed both online and offline once logged in for the first time and you can set reminders so you keep on track with your recovery. IMPORTANT - This app will only be able to help patients who have been explicitly referred to HBSUK-Physio from another NHS service, or by their private medical insurer. It is important to seek medical advice before using this app and making any medical decisions. App advertised all over their services - but completely redundant!!! ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2026-06-24, version 2.24.4* Axa private health using this through HBSUK. It’s waste of time and not at all initiative and spent 1 hour for simple exercise list but ended up frustrated. ### 1/5 — Don't bother, see a physio in person *2026-04-12, version 2.24.4* Insurers need to stop with this virtual physio rubbish. How are you supposed to do an exercise properly of you haven't been shown how to do it by a professional who watches you and tells you what you're doing wrong? First off, it doesn’t contain my exercises, so that’s a fail. Secondly if you view your appointments it takes you to the website (login, MFA codes etc). That’s pointless - you don’t need an app to take you to a website. Thirdly, the appointments aren’t even there. 4th what’s the patronising picture of a woman as the logo about? ### 1/5 — Dreadful *2025-12-15, version 2.21.0* Absolutely dreadful as far as exercises are concerned. The developers should check literally any other app (I recommend Bend) on how to make it easier to follow. I have to work on one leg but the instructions don’t make it easy to work out which should be used for what in each exercise. The measuring each rep is useless. What exactly am I measuring? The rep? A hold? All the above? I also had exercises assigned to me that need equipment I don’t own, despite saying what I did have. Annoying. The appointment booking is an absolute joke. The customer services is beyond ridiculous.
